@southern-psu-fan I don't care about how many calls they get in their favor...They got a huge one saturday that changed that game for them to win...I am talking about a PLAYOFF game to get to the national title...It was a targeting hit and should have been called...it was blatant...If you don't call that targeting than forget the rule...That changed the game...To fail to acknowledge this is just disingenuous...It changed the game...If they make that call as they should have OSU wins that ballgame and it is as simple as that...That is why I have a tough time taking this stuff seriously...I swear ESPN has the fix in for their teams to advance...What other explanation can there be as this happens over and over again...
@the-funeral-director i agree with you. I just don’t remember the penalty. I hate Georgia and I was pulling for Ohio St and that’s tough to do for me. I remember siding with coach Day.
I doubt you watched the game or were paying attention to college football at all if you dont remember it. That hit and no call on Harrison was plastered all over TV and the internet for weeks.@the-funeral-director i agree with you. I just don’t remember the penalty. I hate Georgia and I was pulling for Ohio St and that’s tough to do for me. I remember siding with coach Day.
@roaminglion I watched the game I just don’t remember the hit. Ohio St gets one bad call in 40 years and y’all whine about it. Give me a break.2-12, 1-4 and 9-13 is all you need to remember Roam lol
I didnt whine about the hit at all, I just knew about it. Everyone did@roaminglion I watched the game I just don’t remember the hit. Ohio St gets one bad call in 40 years and y’all whine about it. Give me a break.2-12, 1-4 and 9-13 is all you need to remember Roam lol
I can't fathom that you watched that ballgame and don't remember that hit? I ain't whining about it at all...I hate both teams...I am talking about this from a pure competitive perspective...That one play determined the outcome of that ballgame...it's that simple...I am convinced that these games have predetermined winners if ESPN has anything to say about it...There is no other conclusion you can come up with...#1 Michigan's style of play was much more suited to play Georgia and Ohio State was much more suited from their style of play to play TCU but they switched em up...#2 the officiating in that OSU game was terrible...OSU got screwed at every direction and it was clear that Georgia was the sacred cow that they wanted to advance...I don't wanna hear the oh my God I can't believe you think these games could be fixed...Let me tell ya something...In the course of a football game there are maybe 7 or 8 plays that truly decide a game...You just throw a flag here and there and take back every big play the team you want to lose makes and you overlook a penalty here or there every time it is beneficial for the team you want to win has a play go their way...That one no call decided that football game...That no penalty call served 3 purposes...#1 Harrison was out of the game with a concussion...#2 if it was called targeting Georgia loses a key player from their secondary...#3 Ohio State has a 1st and goal from the 1 and they are gonna score and put this game away...This is why I call the whole thing a farce...It's really disingenuous to call it a true sporting event because it really isn't...99% of the time these outcomes are controlled thru officiating so the team that benefits the money wins...The money being ESPN...Frankly even a 12 team playoff isn't going to matter because they will control the officiating crews and watch the flags fly...It is way to common place to be a random thing or a coincidence...As bad as PSU played this Saturday does anybody really believe that the fantom flag that called back that defensive score didn't greatly affect the outcome of that ballgame? This kind of baloney is far to common and predictable for it to be a coincidence...
@the-funeral-director guys I really don’t remember the hit but I do remember something happening late in the game that was controversial. I may have got up to use the restroom or something. I was at my brother-in-law house watching the game and Ohio St missed a game winning FG because my youngest son was going crazy he’s a stinking dawgs fan lol
Alabama/Penn State baby
the house is officially divided. I have a new grandson. BTW guys the whining comment was a joke I know y’all could care less about Ohio St lol
My lord Southern, so you've completely blocked out or are feigning ignorance of a controversial hit against Georgia when they were down 38-24? LMAO. Convenient.@the-funeral-director guys I really don’t remember the hit but I do remember something happening late in the game that was controversial. It's kinda hard not to laugh, I mean people were talking about this for weeks afterwards. Ohio State was dominating Georgia, their defense couldn't do anything to stop them, and they lose their best WR to a vicious targeting penalty that's not called and.... all of a sudden Georgia had no problem shutting them down. LMAO!!!!
@roaminglion we had a family gathering at my brother-in-law house and I may have been cooking or doing something because I don’t remember seeing the hit but like I said I do remember something controversial about the game. It happens lol. I’m going to go back and see what I said on nits of the round table if I can find it. I usually remember stuff in football but this has me smh. It bothers me more that I can’t remember Ohio st getting the shaft.
Dont bother, you wont find anything because our bowl game was over and I doubt people were coming into a PSU forum to complain about OSU getting shafted. Lmao@roaminglion we had a family gathering at my brother-in-law house and I may have been cooking or doing something because I don’t remember seeing the hit but like I said I do remember something controversial about the game. Just look for stories about the game. They are everywhere, and plent of articles om the particular hit too.
