When I said everyone was talking about it, I MEANT THE MEDIA AND SPORTS RADIO. There were articles, sports shows, first take, etc. that talked about it for weeks. Big Ten officials were complaining about it. The SEC was issuing statements about it. It was all over the place

@roaminglion horse shit roam, we always run stuff in the ground if something is going on in college football playoffs and if it was that big of deal me and you would’ve argued about it through the summer especially if it involves a big 10 team like Ohio St. That’s a BS comment and you know it. From what I gather from these threads is Ohio St should’ve done a better job coaching late in the game to put his FG kicker in better position to make a FG. The big 10 Refs said a penalty should’ve been called what else would that bunch say lol gimme a freaking break

Buckeyes coach Ryan Day said Harrison was put into concussion protocol after he took a massive hit from Georgia defensive back Javon Bullardin the end zone with less than a minute left in the third quarter. He was examined by the medical staff and remained on the Ohio State sideline but did not reenter the game.
Referees initially penalized Bullard for targeting, but the call was overturned upon review.
"I was told that it was not targeting, that [Harrison] didn't take a shot to the head, which is hard for -- I didn't see it, so I don't know," Day said. "But to get a concussion and not get hit in the head -- I have to see the replay."
Scratch everything I said above I thought the hit happened when the game was on the line the last drive.
I copied that off espn and imo it was targeting but the refs overturned that call so they didn’t and this happens all the time. This was also in the 3rd quarter I thought y’all were saying it happened on the last drive of the game and I didn’t remember anything happening on the last drive except Day not running the football to give the FG kicker a easier FG attempt but regardless Ohio St didn’t get it done late in the game when they had a chance to win. Just another loss to a SEC team. Man we’ve had our guys get knocked out of games, it happens.

Well you have gotten yourself a bout of convenient amnesia cause that one play changed the whole ballgame just like that scoop and score changed the whole ballgame last saturday for Penn State...That one no call cost Ohio State the game period against Georgia and they got screwed out of playin in the national title game because of it...That made the whole playoff a farce as it was obvious by the officiating they were gonna make God damned sure Georgia won that ballgame one way or another...That game was stolen from OSU and it was disgusting...I say this not out of love for OSU as I have nothing but contempt for that outfit but just out of respect for the game and honest competition as a former athlete...And that fantom call last week was just as much of a disgrace...What made it more disgusting was the penalty flags that ensued that move the ball down the field for em yet...The refs might as well put the friggin football in the endzone for em...That was a 14 point penalty and ladies and gentlemen the difference in the game...A total farce...
@the-funeral-director it’s easier to remember something when you see it live and when it comes to college football 99% of the time if I watch a game i pretty much remember everything especially if it’s a controversial call so I know I had to be working the grill or something to have missed it. It was targeting and imo the refs shouldn’t have been overruled and that’s the only time I’ve ever seen Ohio st get the shaft but the bottom line is they still had a chance with time running out and they didn’t get it done, that’s what I remember. They should’ve run the ball straight up the middle to get 4 or 5 more yards for an easier FG and they would’ve won that game. I was pulling for Ohio St that’s how bad I hate Georgia. Just good old fashioned hate FD lol
