Some questions regarding who should or shouldn't be in...Why would any 1 loss conference champ (Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ohio State or Michigan) not be worthy of getting in the CFP over a 1 loss team that doesn't win their conference? Why would a 1 loss Notre Dame be less worthy of inclusion in the playoff over any 1 loss team that doesn't win their conference as their only loss is to an undefeated Cincy team? What out of conference win does the SEC conference have this year to hang their hat on? They more or less got beat in every meaningful out of conference game they played this year...Who has Alabama beaten this year? Why would they get in ahead of a 1 loss conference champ unless they win out and win their conference championship and I ask why is their 1 loss conference title better than a 1 loss conference champ from the B1G or Big 12? Those 2 conferences have better records out of their conference than the SEC does this year...I said this for a couple of months that an unbeaten Cincy deserves to be in...Any 1 loss conference champion belongs in ahead of any 1 loss team that doesn't win their conference...I guarantee you that if Bama beats Georgia and they both have 1 loss they both get in the CFP and that is wrong...The minute Oklahoma got beat the SEC shill from ESPN Heather "dimwit" Dinich proclaimed that Oklahoma was out of contention for the CFP...They (ESPN) continues to push the narrative for Bama and Georgia being in the CFP...It's this garbage that makes this a farce...My personal opinion is whoever wins the B1G between Michigan and Ohio State belongs in the CFP...Whoever wins the Big 12 between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State belongs in the CFP...An undefeated Cincy belongs to be in the CFP....Whoever wins the SEC title game between Georgia and Bama (If Bama beats Auburn) belongs in...If Bama loses to Auburn and beats Georgia for the SEC title I would put a 1 loss Notre Dame in ahead of a 2 loss Bama who is a conference champion...A one loss SEC champion gets in ahead of Notre Dame and fills the 4th slot...That's how I see it...
What about Georgia with one loss? ND or Georgia? If the tide beats Georgia and wins the SEC with 2 losses why does ND belong in and Georgia doesn’t because neither team won a conference championship?
@southern-psu-fan: if Georgia loses to Bama, they'll have lost to the only team on their schedule with a pulse. I would think that's enough to drop them out of playoff consideration but haven't we all been surprised before??
FD is on to something here. If Auburn beats Alabama and Alabama beats Georgia in the SEC championship game they’ll send Georgia to the playoffs knowing Alabama just beat ‘em 😂 man this will be a mess if that happens
@southern-psu-fan The ESPN U radio guys, some anyway, have been predicting chaos...BUT, IT likely wont be..If Georgia, Cincy, OSU win their remaining games, as theyre currently predicted to do....Those 3 will be in, the chaos/argument , if you will, will only be the 4th spot..
I just dont think the CFP Committee will ever leave out a 13-0 Cincy team, nor should they...No one mentions it, but if they would, i.e. leave out Cincy....more Congressional oversight looms...I agree, they might like/want to, just dont think they will...
@t-hale come bowl season we’ll see about who has a pulse. According to strength of schedule Georgia has the 2nd toughest schedule behind only Alabama. The link is on the true top 5 post. They may be more that’s just the one I seen.
@culture-thrives I hope Cincinnati does get in because people will find out what happens when you send lightweights to the playoffs. I’d really love for Georgia to get left out so I can hear Kirby cry again lol

That's such a BS statement, because even teams like Ohio State, Notre Dame, Clemson, Michigan State, and Oklahoma have been blown out in the CFP.
So how is Cincy being potentially blown out any different?

I have no idea where you dug up those completely laughable SoS rankings, but here's a link to the most widely used and respected strength of schedule ranks... Sagarin.
http://sagarin.com/sports/cfsend.htm
Georgia is 49th, not 2. LMAO, 2? A team that has played 1 currently ranked team (Arkansas)? Should have been a red flag there Southern.
@roaminglion Clemson won a power 5 conference so they deserved to be in just like the rest of them teams did except ND and ND got drilled just like we all knew they would and Cincinnati will get the same thing.
@roaminglion I just googled ncaa football strength of schedule and that was the first thing to click on lol
According to who? How in the name of the Lord does anybody come up with Georgia and Bama have the 2 toughest schedules? They haven't played anybody worth a lick all year...By any sensible metric the B1G is the best conference THIS year...The B1G east division is the toughest division THIS year...I would also be able to make a strong case for the Pac 12 and Big 12 as stronger conferences than the SEC THIS YEAR...If Auburn beat Bama (and that is very possible) and Bama beats Georgia in the SEC title game I would argue that Cincy, Notre Dame, 1 loss B1G and 1 loss Big 12 teams would be more deserving of being in the CFP than a 1 loss conference non champion or a 2 loss conference champion...The myth is being shattered this year and the who CFP system is being exposed as a sham...This isn't the first time...They were exposed as a sham the year UCF went undefeated and didn't get in...The games have to matter and when they don't matter anymore as has been the case for years you have a sham playoff and champion and this thing is exposed as the farce it is...
According to these people FD. The bottom is it the best 4 teams or not?
I just want to keep this real and not sugar coat anything. The big 10 stinks and the reason I say it stinks is because ain’t nobody in the big 10 can step up and beat Ohio St. it’s time for Penn State and Michigan to pick their game up and get a win every once in a while. Oregon, Clemson and Alabama can beat the chit out of ‘em but the big 10 teams lay a bunch of eggs every time they have a chance to get a win and it’s absolutely unacceptable. Brother, if you want to put the big 10 in the same class as the SEC Penn St and Michigan need to beat Ohio St a d stop letting them dominate this conference. When one team dominates the conference that means it sucks. Alabama, Oklahoma, Georgia, LSU and Clemson lose conference games all the time and it’s time for the big 10 teams to step it up. The big 10 gets dominated by Ohio St and it’s fair to say we get dominated in bowl games as well.
I agree with you 100%, Southern, but for that to happen, somebody needs to tell the zebras, lol.

You had me up until you said Oklahoma and Clemson lose conference title games all the time... both have won 6 straight conference championships. A streak longer than Ohio State's 5.
@roaminglion Oklahoma and Clemson took it on the chin this year. I understand Ohio St has the best players but the big 10 teams can’t never get a win. I’m not just talking about conference championships im talking about getting a win every now and then. Ohio St hasn’t been challenged in a while. Oklahoma does win most of their games but it seems like they’re in dog fights all the time. Ohio State does have the best players so they will win most of the time I just think one or 2 times a year somebody in the big 10 needs to knock them off.
The article you site is meaningless as it is more ESPN drivel...U have an undefeated Cincinnati team, You have a 1 loss Notre Dame who's only loss is to Cincinnati...You have Michigan and Ohio State each with one loss and they will settle the issue tomorrow...I actually think Michigan has a shot to beat em...Whichever one of those 2 teams wins will be a 1 loss conference champ...You have the same situation in the Big 12...Oklahoma and Oklahoma State each have a loss and whichever survives will win that conference championship...That's 1 undefeated team, a 1 loss Notre Dame and 2 1 loss conference champs...Then you get to the SEC...For you to say the B1G stinks is absolute nonsense...The B1G THIS YEAR is the best conference in the country...Then the Pac 12 then the Big 12...ESPN has been pushing the company line all season to get their 2 partner teams in the CFP...You can manufacture statistics to push whatever narrative you want...The bottom line is THIS year the SEC lost far more than they won when it comes to meaningful out of conference games...These were regular season games that were meaningful and not some meaningless muffler bowl that the best players sit out of...It is going to be fascinating out of the Cincy, Notre Dame, 1 loss B1G champ, 1 loss big 12 champ who they leave out if Georgia wins the SEC and goes unbeaten or Bama wins the SEC with one loss...The more fascinating spin on this is what if Bama loses this Saturday and beats Georgia and is a 2 loss SEC champ...It's going to be interesting to see how all this plays out and who gets screwed out of the playoffs...
@the-funeral-director unless you want Georgia to win the NC you better hope that Alabama does get in with 2 losses because we both know they have a better chance beating Georgia than Cincinnati. I’m about Georgia and ohio St gettin beat and the Tides gives us a better chance for that to happen. Don’t know what you’ve seen the last 20 years for you to think Michigan will Beat Ohio St because I believe ohio St will give Michigan a beat down. When the bowl season gets here we’ll see because the big 10 and SEC collide in a few games.
I think Michigan is going to give em all they can handle...I also think the SEC is down this year...I honestly think they are the 4th best conference in the country this year...I am curious to see the Bama Auburn game...I wouldn't be shocked if Auburn didn't knock em off...I have no fear of any team in the SEC this year...I honestly wouldn't be shocked if they didn't get beat in the first round...If Bama loses to Auburn and that is a big IF and if Bama would beat Georgia in the SEC title game I wouldn't put a team from the SEC in the playoff ahead of Cincy, a 1 loss Notre Dame and 1 loss champions from the B1G and the Big 12...A lot of football to be played the next 2 weeks...It's gonna be interesting...
One last point...These games are playoff games...When Georgia plays Bama that is a playoff game...Loser is out...just my opinion...And if Bama wins with 2 losses they go to the back of the bus and fall behind the 1 loss conference champs, an undefeated Cincy and a 1 loss Notre Dame...The games have to matter...
I don’t know FD, the SEC has 5 teams ranked 2 in the top 5 that’s not down imo but the bowl season will settle all this. I’m hearing we might get Arkansas and I think that will be a good game and a good win for us😁 I want teams in the playoffs that can take down Georgia and Ohio St
