Michigan State beating NW but there’s still plenty of time left. 21-13
Ohio State up on Indiana 13-7 but Indiana driving
NW ties the game 21-21
Ohio St pulling away
The backup Kicker for Duke missed a short FG to win the game against GT now he missed the extra to give ‘em a 4 point lead. I believe the Duke Starting kicker is hurt this is a freshman backup.
Michigan and Indiana in overtime. I would’ve brought in Underwood for a play inside the 10 just to give him one chance.
BYU is in a dog fight with UCF but the more I see of Sitake the more I like the guy. Kraft may have been onto something.
And as soon as I type that UCF takes the lead.
@psujoe I just don’t think the BYU coach would be a good fit at Penn St. we need coaches that play physical football. Manny and Fitz were perfect fits imo but I’m still pulling for MC. Fitz or Manny would’ve kept the team together. Manny may have brought a few Duke guys but not 30.
SMH
The problems we have can be fixed with recruiting but that’ll take a few years it’s going to take a shit pot full of money to get this thing fixed in a year or 2. If Manske doesn’t have it MC got some explaining to do. I’m hoping the dude is just still recovering from heart surgery but he played in a few games but maybe he got banged up in that limited playing time.

I thought the first guest has some thoughtful and researched insight into PSU's situation and path forward. It was interesting that he thought we shouldn't have gone to a bowl game as it just allowed coaches that were leaving to recruit PSU players for another month. In the end it probably didn't matter much.
College Football today is a big money business...Spending big money doesn't necessarily guarantee you a winner (see Oregon) but a program has to commit to spending to win in today's game...If Penn State as a program is going to go in at #22 or whatever it is in NIL spending then the fan base is going to have to accept mediocrity which ain't happening at Penn State...That stadium is going to be half full most of the time and the drop in revenue is going to be significant...It's stunning to me that they committed damn near a billion dollars to stadium renovations and facility upgrades to put a product on the field like this and to refuse to invest in the NIL necessary to put together a competitive roster...If Purdue comes in and rolls them look out and they might lose to Purdue...I honestly don't see a scenario that this team is bowl eligible...I don't see them winning 3 games the rest of this season...This program is in a lot of trouble and I don't see this guy bringing in many big time recruits...The issue you have is it takes money to bring in the big recruits as well...It's one thing if you have a 10 win season to sell a kid but now you gotta sell them on a team that didn't make a bowl game and you ain't going to pay them either...Good Luck with that...
One final thing...I am not so sure they wouldn't have been better off hiring Terry as the head coach...I don't think the program would have been any worse off than it is now and he probably would have been able to hang on to a lot more of the talent that was there already...This guy they got now is a disaster...
This so called legislation that is in the works is a con as well...It will solve nothing...It just reverts back to how it was prior to the NIL...You are going to have these schools funneling money under the table...Why cap it? Let it all out in the open...
@the-funeral-director Terry, Fitz or Diaz would’ve kept the team together and we’d be undefeated and MC could’ve done the same thing had he kept more Penn St players. We traded out4* and 5* players for 2* and 3* players. Somebody didn’t watch the film and I was stupid enough to buy in and I’m the one that’s hammered the big 12 for years about being garbage. I fudged up but I didn’t watch the film and I ain’t the coach. RIP warned us but I didn’t listen.
In hindsight they would have been better off keeping Terry and hiring him to run the program...The more I see the worse it gets...
Former head coach June Jones of the Falcons, Hawaii and a high school team passed away. The dude loved coaching. The run and shoot baby. RIP June 🙏
Michigan up on Rutgers 14-13 at the half. Michigan offense stinks
Duke putting an ass kicking on BC I thought BC was gettin better and thought this would be a good game. I took Duke but I didn’t expect this. 34-3 early in the 3rd. 🎃
Iowa up on Wisconsin 30-0 smh
Rutgers and Michigan tied but Michigan is deep in Rutgers territory
Doesn't seem like Rutgers has much of an offense nor are they putting pressure on the QB. If the Michigan DB's could catch....
USC up on Ohio St 14-3
USC up 27-9
Ga tech can’t get a stop smh
