Interesting on all accounts. The game of the game has totally changed. Next up; legally paying athletes and having a player payroll; I’m not kidding.
I think we're a lot closer to that than most people believe. I can't find it now but just read an article the other day about a proposal for athletes receiving employee benefits.

@psu6
Sadly, I'm afraid you're right.
Gotta change with the times baby but the thought of driving electric battery cars is killing me lol. I hate the electric forklifts!
Full blown free-agency!
lol More like a Journeyman pool, grab the guy you need for the day, week or month.

I never thought of it that way BTII. You're right though, kinda like the Kelly Temporary Service Agency, LMAO.

We have a Tesla Model 3. It will beat most cars off the line at 0-60 in 3.7 seconds. It’s a blast to drive

Just remember Southern, change isn't always a good thing. What ever happened to "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"?
It will be interesting when players start getting paid; I'd say a lot of them can't even fill out a 1040ez form, now throw in payment for out of state games and see what that does for your taxman acumen; a whole new on campus industry is probably already on the drawing board waiting to be hatched. In the end players may really end up being the losers in the big picture. Sad but ....
@roaminglion I’m all for electric cars if that’s what people want to drive I just don’t want to be forced to drive one. I love my gas ⛽️ guzzling expedition.
I agree bob do what works especially if it’s working good. QB draw up the gut for another first down we’ll see it again tomorrow lol
@roaminglion. If I were to guess what kind of car you drove roam I would’ve honestly said a Tesla and I would assume 99 probably rides an electric moped 😂 I’m just going on with ya 99 lol. 99 probably drives a BMW or maybe a Tesla. Just a guess

Ford F-150 Supercrew XLT 4x4 with the Chrome package. I love it. And it is surprisingly better gas mileage than my wife’s Traverse. 3.5L Ecoboost. 375 HP with a turbocharged V6...who would have thunk it?
I also have a little red Corvette for sunny days SPF. I’m an American muscle car fan.
Don’t judge a fella by his political views. 🤣
I don't see Brewer as an upgrade over Clifford. Nearly same Td/Int stat with Brewer in a conference that doe not play defense.
@lionbacker99. Big deer hunter I should’ve known better lol. 99, I made some homemade deer chili last weekend and the pot was about 5 gallons and it was all gone by Sunday afternoon. I use mostly deer meat a with 2lbs of hot swagger sausage, bell pepper, onions, black beans, kidney beans and pintos. I made it Saturday for the game. It’s amazing how much chili we eat when we win lol
@brownale. Baylor had a pretty tough schedule this year. Penn St will have better players. Whoever we get let ‘em fight it out I’ll be the fan of whoever gives us the best chance to win. Clifford tries his heart out he’s just not taking care of the ball this year I’m hoping that changes next year. On Cliffords defense he is playing behind an OL that has a new coach plus he has a new OC and we have 2 freshmen RB’s. I hope he has a great game tomorrow and lights it up these next 2 games. With all the changes I’m sure most QB’s would struggle.
That sounds delicious. I haven’t made chili in a while. It sounds like a good idea.
I have to say I watched Coastal Carolina knock off BYU a few weeks ago and I was impressed with the Coastal Carolina QB. They ran a similar offense to PSU and he ran it to near perfection. His reads on the read option were spot on. Clifford struggles with that sometimes. He isn’t nearly as decisive as efficient as Trace was. Of course, we probably are a little spoiled after watched Trace run that offense. CC kid seemed to be a bigger kid also. The BYU QB was getting a lot of hype, and deservedly so because he will be playing on Sunday’s, but in my opinion the CC kid outplayed him. I couldn’t help but wonder if he would make the PSU offense better? I have also read that the Akron QB is pretty good, but I have not seen him play. These are kids that would probably take the opportunity to play for a bigger school if given the chance. I just don’t know how the rules apply for having contact with these kids to transfer. I think the kids have to enter the transfer portal before other coaches can have contact with them.

Brewer has concussion issues so he would be a risk, some people were recommending he walk away from football a couple years ago because of it. I wanted Brewer at first but now would much rather have this guy https://247sports.com/Player/JaQuinden-Jackson-87600/. But if you're worried about immediate eligibility a lot of people are hoping for this guy https://247sports.com/Player/Hendon-Hooker-77456/.

@psujoe Didn’t the NCAA just rule that all transfers could play right away? I agree with you, the Texas kid is intriguing.
@lionbacker99 Speaking of Trace, have you seen Pribula play? His play reminds people of McSorley and in some of the pictures I've seen he kinda looks like him too.

I thought it said they had to be enrolled by the beginning of this fall semester. There's another rule change that they're scheduled to vote on in Jan that would allow a player to transfer once with immediate eligibility but if that rule is passed it won't go into effect till August 2021.

Haha! You'd be wrong though! I drive a Cherokee Trailhawk, the Tesla is my wife's car 😀
Off road 4×4 is a blast in Oregon, I've even taken it out on the dunes.
What kind of car do I drive Southern? I love this game haha
@roaminglion Nice! I like the TrailHawk. It’s a good looking SUV. The TrackHawk is a beast, but WAY overpriced. I could talk cars all day. I’m a car guy. My dad was/is a motorhead and I learned a ton from him. I do a fair amount of my own repairs and maintenance with the knowledge he passed on to me. I’m trying to teach my teenage boys some things. Car repairs are super expensive so I’m trying to teach them to be able to do things on their own. My youngest is trying to talk my wife and I into a Tesla. My hesitation is that we need the space of the SUV, hence the Traverse. 2 teenage boys (and sometimes their friends) and a dog on trips take up a lot of space. I may look into a hybrid SUV for her when it’s time though.
