We're talking head coach, not DC. That's just stupid. You even said in another thread Manny was a great DC but not HC. Stop putting DC in there for Belechik as his credentials as HC. You always do it for him, yet several times when talking about others make the distinction that being a DC and HC is different. I don't care about Belechik as a DC. We are talking about him as a HC.So bill walsh winning at Stanford counts but Belichick taking Cleveland to the playoffs and winning SB’s as a DC doesn’t count?
As for Cleveland, his record there was 36-44 and 0-1 in the playoffs. Stop it. He got fired and you're acting like getting a team to 1 playoff game in 5 years is some major accomplishment. The 5 years previous to Belichick, the Browns were 44-36 with 4 playoff births. It wasn't some terrible job like you keep saying
Stanford? Walsh took them over and they hadn't been to a bowl game in 5+ years. He went to 2 in 2 years and then left for the 49ers.
Keep running from Belechik's terrible Head Coach record without Brady all you want.
