Washington, big 10 champ, Texas and Florida St. This is the teams they’ll take imo..I wouldn’t but they will and should the way they’ve been choosing teams over the years because it’s about who deserves to go not necessarily the best 4 teams.

I agree that's who should go. Because "the best team" is subjective. All you know is Texas (Big 12 Champ) beat Alabama (SEC Champ) and Georgia didnt win the conference.

Cant leave out the other 3.

You gentlemen must have had a wild night and spiked your ovaltine. There isn’t a world where there’s no SEC team in the playoffs. Much more likely to have two teams from SEC than zero.

Nah, those people aren't committing suicide by taking Alabama or Georgia over a Texas team that beat the SEC Champ

@roaminglion you’re high if you think Texas pulls more weight than Georgia.

@roaminglion You’re arguing with a guy that said Penn State can’t beat OSU because the fans are living in the past.

@psujoe instead of participating here comes a an idiot remark which is pretty consistent with all of your post I’ve read so far especially the ones that actually concern football. You should text Todd Blackledge and see if there’s any good bingo nights in State College.

In the 12 team playoff system and how the big 10 schedule is I’m thinking most teams will have 2 or 3 losses. The conference champs gets in I know but the other 7 teams are ranked the highest. If Big 10 teams have 3 losses and SEC teams have 3 losses I’m not feeling good about getting big 10 teams in unless it’s Ohio St fighting with 3 losses. I was hoping they would take the top 2 from each conference and 2 at large teams that way 10 teams earn their way in. I guess the SEC could say the same thing but they usually get the benefit of the doubt.

Taking 2 teams from each is a bad idea, you a rewarding a team losing the conference. At least with rankings they kinda prove it a bit

@roaminglion what about doing away with championship games and take the top 2 that way 10 teams earn their way in. I hate the  “deserve” to get in without winning something like TCU and Alabama did.

The answer to that question is a simple one...Pac 12 undefeated champ...B1G undefeated champ...ACC undefeated champ and whoever the SEC champ is...The games during the regular season matter...This isn't a beauty contest...

No, how about the only auto bids are conference champs. You dont win your conference, you roll the dice.

In this case you have 3 undefeated conference champs who are in...Texas beat Bama head to head so they are in...This is simple in my book...No need for hypotheticals as they played and Texas beat em...Games matter...
