@rip I'm a bit conservative, she's trending liberal. She liberally helped herself to what I was trying to conserve. Welcome to NY state! On the plus side, since she's the one that walked, I didn't have to pay her alimony.
I like listening to PSU football talk on radio and podcasts through the off-season but am not sure if I’m going to be able listen to this ridiculous hype for 7months. “Penn State is just like Michigan from 2 seasons ago “ “Penn State is just like OSU” “Allar will win the Heisman” “Allar will be the number one draft pick” “Penn State will win the national championship “ blah blah blah.
These people are setting themselves up for heartache.
I’ll buy in depending on what happens in Columbus.
TEXAS OR OSU TITLE FAVORITES @2026
According to Ross Dellinger, the Power four conferences are forming a committee which will control the enforcement of Collete Athletic rules once the House lawsuit is settled. One of the representatives will be from Georgia Tech. See the attached article for details. Excerpt below.
"Builders of the new framework, the transition team is made up of two athletic directors from each of the Big Ten, SEC, ACC and Big 12 conferences. The four power leagues, named defendants in the settlement, are leading the implementation of the agreement’s most significant piece: that schools are permitted annually to share millions in revenue with athletes under a capped system scheduled to begin July 1."
"Members of the committee — unannounced and kept secret now for months — are from some of college football’s biggest brands, including Ohio State’s Ross Bjork, Clemson’s Graham Neff and Texas A&M’s Trev Alberts. Others represented include Arizona, Cincinnati, Washington, Georgia Tech and Kentucky. Commissioners, compliance officers and general counsels of the four power conferences are leading the group."

I need to correct the way I phrased my statement above. The Committe is a transition team which will create the framework for an organization that will oversee Revenue Sharing, NIL, and salary cap. This organization is an LLC that will monitor the Revenue Sharing, NIL, and Salary cap. I show a paragraph below from the article that will help clarify. You will need to read the full article to understand the full scope of this change.
This dude added this that was responding. Sorry I can’t put the article here.
That will be slapped with an anti-trust lawsuit the moment it's implementedI need to correct the way I phrased my statement above. That’s the article I don’t know if you can click on it or not. I don’t understand it it’s way above my head.
Life was so much simpler and a heck-of-a-lot more fun when it was just a game. As usual, money corrupts!
^^^^^
@rip It's still just a game, more important to some, less important to other. All in your perspective. I'm kind of middle of the road, I get excited, but try not to dwell on it win or lose.
I know what you're saying, BT and I wholeheartedly agree. I enjoy the game and like to win. I also don't like to lose, but I don't take it as hard as I did in my younger years. I just get so fed up with NIL, transfer portals and paying kids for what is supposed to be fun playing a game they love. I miss the days when we looked to our freshman team to replenish our roster instead of shopping the portal. Guess I'm just an old fart living in a "smell my sheet"society, lol!

@southern-psu-fan lol Yes, the ND game. sigh
@rip we now have a losing record against ND and we got it having the better team getting beat in the playoffs. Had we beat Ole Miss Penn State would be the only team to have won all the major bowl games. These are the kind of games we’re losing. All wins are good but beating teams that have the same talent level are great wins. Penn State needs a great win and hopefully we get one this year.
And per reports, ND trying to get Seider for their RB coach. Gonna hate on them even worse if they succeed.
I saw that too, BT. This would be a huge loss and of all places, the Domers! Jimmy gotta step up & pay the man!!!!

Reports now saying he’s gone.
Penn State assistant coach Ja’Juan Seider, one of the top recruiters in the country, is being pursued by Notre Dame to become the team’s running backs coach, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Its on pennlive
