In the TV interview he said, that's my f'ing QB, when referring to Drew.

Not good but at this point a little counseling from Franklin will do.

My wife said she heard somebody say the F word so I’m assuming it was Singleton? After the game, right?

@southern-psu-fan

Yeah, a female announcer was interviewing Allar and Singleton butted in and said  that's my f'ing QB.  Allar was kinda taken aback and said something like "hey, we're on live".  I don't see it as a big deal, but not what we're used to seeing from our guys.  I hope your little cutie was tucked into bed and didn't have to hear that fbomb!

His agent. Better to brand yourself as a clean cut All American kid. Barkley has made a ton of money maintaining the good guy image.

At least he didn't say the n-word.......  But seriously, his actions show a sense of camaraderie and unity that exists between the players.  However, the coaches should speak with him about elevating himself and the program.  Keep the locker-room talk in the locker room.

Well in regards to getting paid... no one cares. Deshaun Watson is the highest paid NFL player in history and he had 21 allegations of sexual harassment to deal with when he signed.

You think they care more about a F-bomb then sexual harassment and rape? Lmao

I get it. As long as you can perform some greedy NFL owner will pay you. How many endorsement deals does Watson have. I’ll guess none. Gronkowski has yet to spend any money he made from playing. He lives off his endorsement deals. Barkley is doing the same.

Singleton will learn to polish himself. One bad word won’t hurt.

I doubt any agents are encouraging their clients to freely use F bombs.

  1. @sky I can guarantee you not one brand is worried about Singleton dropping an F bomb during an interview.

The man you used as an example, Barkley, said this recently: My leverage is I could say, ‘f— you’ to the Giants, I could say, ‘f— you to my teammates, and be like, ‘You want me to show you my worth? You want me to show you how valuable I am to the team? I won’t show up. I won’t play a down.’ And that’s a play I could use.

So yes, I dont think anyone would care. Endorsements will come.

I seem to remember a former PSU football coach, Bill O'Brien, call the team "a bunch of f**kers" after a big win over Wisconsin. It didn't seem to hurt his prospects.

Rather he didn't talk like that as a PSU fan.  But in this new world it will not hurt him much.  Perhaps he shouldn't be so excited after thumping Iowa but it is good to see he likes DA.
