Get this dude #9 in the game on some QB runs I don’t care if the defense is expecting it, teams do it all the time. This dude can play and he needs to be on the field as needed. I’m not saying disrupt the offense the whole game but we see plays where #9 needs to be on the field. I believe the OL is good enough now to where we can look at the other team’s defense and tell them “we don’t care if you know it’s a QB run here, we’re going to run it anyway” and we going to get that 3 yards. We did it with MROB, D-Clark, McSorely,Levis, Stevens and we can do it with Pribula.

Thats was a great win last night baby and ND lost and how bout dem Yellow Jackets baby Brent Key got them boys playing. It was a great day lol

Folks, as of today Ga Tech has the best QB that I’ve seen play this year that dude can play. He runs like #9 and throws a little better than #15 but #15 is still a young man 15 will be better in time.

Maybe on some of those short yardage QB sneaks it would be good to have Pribula in the game.  I know we've been successful running Allar, but I don't like taking a risk of injury with the TE push coming from behind.  That has the possibility of bruised (or worse yet cracked) ribs written all over it!

I don't mind Pribula getting a real play at times but I'd like him to be 2D.  But maybe we put him in against OSU or UM and sneak someone downfield.  If Aller gets hurt we need more playbook or we will be on QB #3.

I don’t understand running the backup QB until the wheels come off like we did to what his name that transferred to Kentucky and are now apparently doing to Pribula. Let the kid throw the ball and play with more of the first team players during mop up time so he’s ready in case of emergency. If you’re trying to win a championship being prepared is more important than worrying about offending someone.

P.S. Let’s not muck up the forum with talk about some no name loser football program from the south. Rutgers would kick the shet out of that pathetic program on an annual basis.

@psujoe  you can see how much better #9 gets as the game goes. He needs to be on the field whenever we want to run the QB. He’s good enough to get 3 or 4 yards and he’s another player the defense has to worry about. Like I said though, don’t disrupt the offense just give the kid some meaningful playing time that helps us win.

He is the backup, I dont care about a play here or there but I don't want to see him taking time from Allar just because.

We have only seen him run against tired defenses at the end of games. Let's hold off on proclaiming he's a great QB that needs to be on the field because of that.

That all said, I agree that we shoukd let him throw some balls. I don't understand not letting him throw it unless you dont trust him.

@roaminglion

I am more concerned, or should I say, more curious why ALLAR is not throwing the ball down the field more often. He has now missed two wide open receivers - didn't see them - in back to back games. Two wide open players that would have walked into the end zone.

But hey, this is only his 4th game as a starter and he has not thrown any interceptions or put the ball on the ground.  Hopefully they are reviewing the films with him and pointing out missed opportunities.  But then again, I think he has done a real nice job spreading the wealth and engaging a lot of different players in these wins.  That first TD last night was one really nice throw!

Hey - Penn State is 4-0 as they should be.  Allar has progressed nicely and I think last night he "leveled up" and will get us to 6-0 before the Ohio State game.  Really can't ask for more than that at this point. I would have liked to have seen Pribula get some meaningful snaps with the first team last night, but then again, the Offense was playing very well and I am not sure interrupting them (last night) would have been the right thing to do. Their confidence was building and they played a complete game.....finally. I have a hunch we will see more of Pribula the next two weeks.  But I have to agree with you, Allar needed to paly as much as possible the first 4 games and next week too. If they play solid against NW and get a nice lead, then I would like to see Pribula get some first team playing time.

What do I know!! I am just thrilled we spanked Iowa and are now sitting at 4-0 and #6 in the AP Poll.  I just wish Southern would put us at #1 or #2! LOl

GO STATE!!!
