I have no idea what we'll get from the Nittany Lions on Saturday. Based on the fact that no one else has started a "Predictions" thread, I think others are feeling the same way.
My guess is the Olé Miss will start the game with the ball and see some early success. The Penn State Defenders will give up some yards but absorb the hits before finally holding Olé Miss to a FG attempt. From that point forward, the "Olé" in Olé Miss will be appropriate because Penn State defenders will be running through the Olé Miss O-line and will wreak havoc in the Olé Miss backfield for the rest of the game. There will be instances when the mobility and accuracy of Jaxson Dart will result in success but those moments will be infrequent and short-lived. The performance is a direct result of the Penn State Defensive Coaches recognizing that soft defenses embolden the opponent while an aggressive defense makes an offense inept and causes the offensive players to quit due to the futility.
On the offensive side of the ball, Penn State will do some crazy things like pitching the ball to the running backs, rolling-out the QB and using a Tightend or #23 as a wingback / x-back in the running game. We'll also get to see liberal use of the A&P Package and we'll see both #15 and #9 throw some deep balls. Breaking with their tendencies, the receivers are going to play extremely well with #1, #2, #3, #5, #6, #7 and #11 all contributing. In the end, Penn State rolls with a 49-20 victory.
Not a certainty but if pressed, Coach Franklin will go for 2, or a 4th down or a fake-punt when it seems ill-advised. It is probable that there will be some sort of time-management issue.

I wouldn’t put so much faith in our defense, Chop is the only player that has opted out but some other starters that are off to the NFL will only play sparingly in this game. I believe Ole Miss will be able to move the ball and put up 24-27 points, can our Offense score enough to win?
Ga Tech put up huge numbers on the Ole Miss defense and I look for Penn St to do the same Thing. 42-21 we win
I don't know what to expect, but I think the boys will put on a good show. I'm thinking (hoping) we win 45 - 20.

I could see Allar going down for a safety, but not twice!!!! I could also see Jimmy going for a 2 point conversion after our TD and the pass from Tank falling incomplete, lol !!!!

I believe ours guys will play and only come out if we have a comfortable lead like Barkley did against Washington a few years ago. We could’ve beat Washington by 5 TD’s had James Franklin not played Barkley just enough to get the win. I look for the same thing in this game against Ole Miss. if the game is close I believe they play the whole game these dudes want this win.

@roaminglion IMO to have a win against one of the best SEC teams and also its the peach bowl that’s a big win. 11-2 is a very good season especially if you win a big dawg bowl game.

It will be a real tight game. You won't see much loyalty to the team. Strangely I've seen this type of behavior here before. They mysteriously vanish or throw out a few cards, IT DOESN'T MATTER at the first sign of trouble or doubt. I expect everything and anything to be thrown out tomorrow by Ole Miss coaching. Better play solid D
I like Penn State by 14.........24-10.
