The ACC has had one good team at a time for the last decade. Otherwise it is paper thin. There is a reason why it got a second tier TV contract with the CW. Follow the money trail. The B1G and SEC own TV money. Look at it this way, if UW, USC, and Oregon were in the B1G now (coming next year), the B1G would own the top 10 right now.

The ACC won 3 and lost a couple while the big 10, PAC and big 12 has struggled. Let Penn State jump ship and join the ACC with ND and the ACC could be the most powerful conference. @southern-psu-fan Why on earth would Penn State do that? It doesn’t make any sense from any perspective. We know money rules EVERYTHING. The significance of the conferences is reflected in the TV contracts. Also, F ND. I hope they are left out of everything.
Really, what are the chances Penn State would join the ACC? IMO it’s the conference they should be in anyway. Do you think the ACC has tried to get Penn State?
@lionbacker99 i agree with you on ND but if both teams joined the ACC it would be up there with all the conferences. I speak selfishly because I could go to some games lol
I’m sure the ACC would take PSU in a second, but that would be a really poor decision for PSU. If the ACC would lose FSU or Clemson, it would become extinct and all those teams would be begging the B1G or SEC to take them.
Penn State is already in the most powerful conference in the country and moving to the ACC makes no sense at all.

What you just said at the end was exactly why we're saying the ACC isnt as good as you think it is. It's been a 1 tram conference since 2015 when FSU started to suck, and Clemson has been the only team worth anything.
FSU is back which is great, but Duke and UNC are the best of the rest and that aint saying much. Our point has always been it's an extremely top heavy conference... which is why Clemson and FSU want out, they carry it and dont want to share the money.
