Miami shutout 14-0 by LA Tech, when did Miami die? When Donna Shalalah put in the 'zero tolerance policy' after the stomping incident 😎 ? The problem before Al Golden? The coaching carousel? More competition for FL recruits with S FL and C FL?
Â
ND gets a bowl game with an unranked opponent. That is rare, typically they get someone ranked above them.
Â
Pitt is bad enough we are allowed to root for them tonight?
Agree Lion ... how the mighty have fallen. The Miami Hurricanes losing to Louisiana Tech 14 - 0 in the Walk-On's Independence Bowl this evening. That would have been inconceivable 3 years ago when they had a 10 win season and went to the Orange Bowl.Â
Karma for Diaz after bailing out on Temple contract.Â

Miami is bad...
That all started to go down hill before Golden... First 2-3 years with Golden they were under sanctions.
From what I understand the football facilities at Miami are dreadful.
Yes I believe USF, FAU, UCF, and FIU (Under Butch Davis) are all pulling more recruits plus FLA guys are willing to go outside of their state.
I read they play at Dolphins Stadium which is quite a way from campus, kids cannot walk to games. Think what would Beaver Stadium be like without the student section.
You are correct... Miami messed up like PITT did.
Miami needed to build a on Campus or next to campus stadium. Even the old Orange Bowl was to far from campus.
I remember going to PITT games and walking up the hill to the old PITT stadium, they screwed up by not building a PITT only stadium on campus.
I know My brother is crying the blues, the state denied him gettin out of prison and the Canes go down to La Tech when it rains it pours lol
Miami is screwed. As much as Pitt has no space for a stadium, Miami is 3x as bad. There is just nowhere to build, unless they take over a school or other public building and build there.
Don't think that would go over well though

Miami made a choice decades ago that they were going to build their fanbase primarily from the residents of Miami, rather than from the students and alumni of the university in Coral Gables. That whole "thug" image they try to convey? That doesn't apply to that university at all, although it apparently appeals to their historical fanbase.
