Five former PA players on the PSU staff. Franklin Neshaminy, Pry Altoona, Ciarrocca Red Land, Terry Smith Penn Hills, Limegrover Central Catholic   That’s how you dominate the state!

Should help lower turnover in the staff.  Should help recruit PA, but our net needs to be wider and while we may dominate the state we still lose many 4-5*'s to OSU and others.  Reality is that we are the big dog in our region, Michigan and OSU are our biggest competitors for recruits.

Pennsylvania is a great state especially producing wrestlers & football players. I can see why coaches want to perform their skill here.

It's nice to have them  stay home.  What strikes me odd is having 5 Division 1 recruits from Southern Columbia leave their backyard for other colleges.  I work with union guys from that area. I've been told they didn't even consider Penn state.  Keep them home!

Some kids just want to get away. As PSU’s program continues to improve, more top kids will want to play for the Nittany Lions regardless of where they hail from.

When George Curry was at Berwick he did not like Joe and would tell his kids not to go to Penn State.

He didn't like Joe don't know why the only player he had that went to Penn State was Gus Felder

Yea, I'm from the wilkes-Barre Scranton area and Powlus going to ND was a big deal and some were trying to say Curry was the cause of it but, Powlus came out and pretty much dispelled that rumor.

I remember Beano Cook on ESPN stating that Powlus would not only win 1 but 2 Heisman Trophies. As we know that was a terrible prediction as Powlus didn't have that stellar of career at ND and actually unfair to the player.

Hey Southern .. speaking of show boating did you see the Pitt players (5 of them) get penalized with personal fouls for running into the end zones and putting on a demonstration for the cameras.

I’ve been so busy at work I haven’t had time to turn the TV on. We are wide open at work but I’m off tomorrow for the game. I’m looking for a beat down on Memphis.

Rflmao. Didn’t consider.  You moron. Fleming was all about psu till his preferred coach left. Your sources are idiots. Psu didn’t consider them. It was the other way around.  Once again your sources are idiots

No interest at all.  Preferred coach left? Sorry,  you are wrong and changing the story to fit your fairy tale narrative.

If I remember correctly wasn’t it Gus that took care of his family while he was in college? I remember something special that Gus did but it was so long ago I just can’t remember what it was.
