I've put what I think would happen, but here's what I'd be interested in seeing...
I'd love to play Missouri. It would be a good matchup: 3rd Big Ten team vs. 3rd SEC team
I keep hearing we’ll be playing Tulane or Missouri and if it’s between those two I hope it’s the Tigers.
Using Southerns theories we’ll destroy either of those teams.
@psujoe I like our chances because of our defense. The Michigan St QB took a beating and JJ Mcarthy said he could barely walk the next day after playing us. QB’s take a beating playing us. It would be a good game playing either team. Tulane beat USC last year in a bowl game if I remember correctly.
Homer, did you see Ga Tech running all over Georgia last night? We lost because we can’t stop anybody but Tech put up a good fight. BK has to get the defense fixed.
@southern-psu-fan Didn’t watch it but obviously GA didn’t want to be there !
But Tech would be coming up north to play. Maybe some foul weather. The Rutgers flags would be flying throughout the coal regions. Could be a tough row to hoe, Southern, lol.
I've heard Tulane, Missouri and maybe Alabama
I don't know about playing, nut it's certainly too cold to be sitting in the stands watching!
Another USA Today article predicting Peach bowl will be Alabama vs Tulane and PSU playing Washington in the Fiesta.
We only have a few more days to wait.
Man, I'd rather play Missouri or Texas. We played Washington in the Fiesta recently, and also played a Group of 5 team recently too.
Also, Washington and Oregon are in the Big 10 next year anyway.
Alabama, Texas or ole Miss would be good. We need Chop in these games though lol
@roaminglion Yeah, that's why there's a little doubt in the back of my mind. Well, the rerun aspect and the fact it's USA today's prediction. I kinda like the idea of the Peach bowl.
@rip the funeral director wants bowl games played up north and these southern dudes don’t like playing in the cold plus the fans don’t like sitting in the cold especially on a vacation. It’s to dang cold up there FD we like warm weather and the goat Joe Paterno loved the warm weather. He kicked a lot of ass in it anyway lol
@southern-psu-fan the only people that can’t sit in the cold to watch a football game are you southern wussies.
It doesn’t bother us while watching High School, college or pro football.
The reason soithern schools don’t want to come north is because they know they’ll get their asses beat.
If the Super Bowl can be played in Minneapolis, Indiana, Detroit, and NYC then southern teams can play bowl games in the north.@rip the funeral director wants bowl games played up north and these southern dudes don’t like playing in the cold plus the fans don’t like sitting in the cold especially on a vacation. @roaminglion they got the Pinstripe bowl and the Belk bowl is in NC. People up north is the ones that want a few days out of the snow lol
- Southern’s making excuses again!
LMAO at the times people actually think thousands of people plan their vacays around a bowl game. If people want to go, they go.
@roaminglion when you go somewhere for a week like down in Florida I’m assuming it would be vacation days. Maybe not
It was in my case. Went to a lot of bowl games down through the years and parlayed them into a lot of great vacations to boot!
