It will be interesting to see if the CFP Comittee adjusts as they should. Not that it matters, but we SHOULD be moved ahead of Missouri. The reason? The CFP's own ranking system.
Missouri's win against Kansas State was big for them, a close game they were able to win. However, with KSU's loss yesterday they will finish tied with West Virginia, and below them if tie-breakers are applied. PSU>Mizzou
Then, you take "best win". Iowa is higher ranked than Tennessee. PSU>Mizzou
Losses? Ours were to 12-0 Michigan and 11-1 Ohio State. Missouri lost to 12-0 Georgia... but also 9-3 LSU. PSU>Mizzou
Check scores of games outside of losses. PSU played 1 close game... Indiana. That's it, every other game we beat teams by at least 17 points. Like, mostly not in doubt blowouts. Missouri played a bunch (4) of close games, including barely beating Middle Tennesse State by 4. PSU>Mizzou
By no metric should Missouri warrant being ranked ahead of us. The AP and Coaches polls kept Mizzou at #9, which is ridiculous really.
I’m assuming Michigan is in the playoffs win or lose? This 4 team just flat sucks! Rewarded for losing smh
If Bama beats Georgia and it’s only by a couple points they will both be in th playoff. And Meatchicken is in with a win.
@southern-psu-fan if Meatchicken loses to Iowa there’s no way they can be put in the playoff
@psujoe they put TCU in last year when TCU lost to K-State. I’m pulling for Iowa, Alabama, Washington and Louisville. I want total chaos homer lol
No chance, if Michigan loses to Iowa they are not in the playoff without serious help.I’m assuming Michigan is in the playoffs win or lose? This 4 team just flat sucks! Rewarded for losing smh
Because everyone else had 2 losses, that's why. Right now there are 8 teams with 1 or no losses. If Michigan were to lose, you may not even see a Big Ten team in the playoff at all.@psujoe they put TCU in last year when TCU lost to K-State. SAy everything else is chalk... Michigan ain't getting in ahead of Washington, Texas, Georgia, or Florida State if they lose to Iowa. No way in heck.
@roaminglion I hope you’re right but it wouldn’t surprise me to see Florida State lose. I also hope Texas gets beat
If that happens it will be:@roaminglion I hope you’re right but it wouldn’t surprise me to see Florida State lose. I also hope Texas gets beat
- Washington
- Alabama
- Georgia
- Michigan
IMO the only way Michigan gets in with a loss is if Texas and FSU lose too.
