I’m not sure why the links came up as oversized pictures? Just tap on the images and the videos will start. WE ARE....

One of my favorite games of all time.  I had a bet with my boss, who was a huge Buckeye fan.  He had to wear a PSU shirt to a meeting the on Monday morning.  Classic.  (I'm not sure I would have wore the Buckeye shirt if we had lost.)  Went to the Orange Bowl that year for the 4 overtime game with FSU.  If my memory is correct and that was the same season.

it was awesome watching Tamba Hali take down the Ohio St QB to end and win the game. The TD by DW was awesome as well man that dude had some speed.

Thanks for those.  Not the first time I have seen them but I sure needed that today.  I loved what Joe said at the end of the game when the reporter asked "is Penn State was back?".  Joe says "oh, I don;t know that we ever left."

That OSU game was in 2005 and the the 2006 Orange Bowl, a 2005–06 BCS game, was played on January 3, 2006. It went into 3 overtimes and on 2nd and 9 on the 12-yard line, Kicker Gary Kelly hit a 29-yard field goal to give Joe Paterno and the Nittany Lions the win over Bobby Bowden and the Seminoles.

I was at that bowl game.  It was way late when we got back to the hotel.  I was amazed that both Joe and Bobby managed to stay awake.  It had to be way past their bedtime.  Luckily I drove there from GA.  The PA people that flew in had to have their bags packed and outside of their rooms at like 6:30 AM for the flight home.

kelly was very shaky in the bowl game even though he did come through in the end to get the win. BTW was I the only one that got nervous every time he kicked a FG? He turned out to be a very good kicker but he still had me shaking every time he was put in a game tying or game winning FG. If I remember right wasn’t joe going to send the offense back in on 4th down to win the 06 orange bowl and MROB told joe let the freshmen kick you’re going to have him 3 more years?

Thanks for the post!!! I was on the edge of my seat for 15 minutes....felt like I was on recess from the world!

Send one a week for the next 12 weeks, only the ones that we win ( like you would send anything else...LOL) and we can declare an undefeated season for 2020!!

Hope everyone is still hanging tough!! Be safe!

That's what I remember too.  It was so late.  I don't know about Joe and Bobby, but I just wanted the game to end.  By the time we got back to our place it was about 4 am.  I was totally drained from the long day and nerves of that game.
