Some are speculating that there will be no football in the fall. There is still much unknown about covid 19 and for sure the future is uncertain.

Although I think it is unlikely that College Football will be cancelled, at this point it is a possibility.

Don't worry.  PSU is surely making plans to allow you to pay full price for 2020 season tickets in order to be eligible for 2021 season tickets.  Also, they can increase in parking fees for 2020 since the pastures will be in such fine condition for the entire fall.  Maybe add in a supplemental missed concession charge to help make the university whole.  It's only fair and it will help make up for the lost foreign student full tuition fees there will surely be.  Make sure you do your part to help out.

Big 10 can play old games so you don't drop them too.

Yes, don't worry.  I'm sure there will be price increases to screw the fans over. Someone has to pay for the unneeded salary increases and big fat bonuses on a yearly basis.

Ive complained about the big salaries and bonuses too and my man BOB told me just let the free market work and it will work itself out and I believe he’s right.

I don't care about the salaries or what they spend.  It really doesn't matter to me.  Most of the money comes from TV anyways.  I go to games when I can get tickets, which is usually pretty easy.  What bothers me is going to a game, and year after year having the experience get worse as far as parking, tailgating, and inside the stadium.  They put so many new structures up near the stadium that used to be good parking.  Having to walk a mile to get there kind of sucks, especially after paying 60 bucks.  And it seems like every game where you park is vastly different.  So finding friends becomes hard.  Like I said, I really don' t care too much.  I was just joking about how greedy they seem most of the time.  I'm sure they are panicking on what to do if the season does get cancelled.  That's a lot of coin gone away.  The next few months are going to be interesting to watch concerning all kinds of American culture.

$60 to park? Lol I stopped goi g to the motocross  back in 08 because they charged me $40 to park. I ain’t been back since and I use to go every year. NASCAR is free in most parking spots but it’s maybe $20 when you do have to pay.

Ok, I have been doing this for years without fail...and I am talking White Out games too.  Assuming you have the standard parking pass           ( which use to be Yellow),  take the E College Ave exit off of 322 N or S and head towards Univeristy Dr. Stay in the right lane and have $40 and your pass in hand.  I have NEVER spent more than $40 for a parking pass coming in this way and I have never parked more than 200 yards away from the stadium.  There will be three spots that you will see passes for sale.  If you don't get one, when you turn right on University Dr, you still have a good chance of getting one. Since they don't have color passes now,  you need a map so you know what you are buying.  DON'T buy one next to the stadium on the west side....these used to be green.  It takes hours to get out of the lot!!!  Anything close to the stadium on the east side and south of the stadium are easy in and outs.  I only do this when I take my dad and father in law, but we always get a close parking spot.

If the season does happen, I just have a hard time seeing 107K people being allowd in Beaver Stadium...or any stadium for that matter.  My gut tells me we will need to see at least 90 days of drastic decline in cases before they give a green light.  And even then, I bet the stadium will be hard to fill beyond 50K people...most will stay home.  It wouldn't surpise me at all if they don't do something each week like selecting seat numbers that will be active for the game.  Maybe spread the stadium out every 6 foot?  Each week 20K people will be allowd in, sit where you want and stay 6 feet away from each other.

And just maybe......it will all go away and we can LIVE again!!!

Hope you are all doing well!

Maybe a nine game conference only season or alternatively spring football.  Wow.  See Centre Daily for those who can get it.

@sky

He would be a high First Round draft choice so I would be shocked if he didn't declare if eligible.

Question: What if the NCAA decides to open the season and play, but certain states like California or Washington decide to stay locked down?

Do schools in those states forfeit their games?

Other leagues have already floated the idea of playing in front of no crowd, and just televising it.

Restrictions are going to be modified soon. PSU athletes may be able to return to campus soon to work out. Not sure what will happen to the fall schedule.
