Just have each division play a round robin to determine the winner... you know, like conferences used to do. LMAO
Play 10 conference games that way we have a true championship. I like it.
It would only be 9 games to play all the teams in one 10 team division. And the only way we would have a true champ is if the best 2 teams are not in the same division.
@psugrad81 That’s right 81, 9 conference games. Play it like the PAC 10 use to and the winning teams of the 2 divisions play a true conference championship game.

Not true... If you play everyone in your division, and no other games count towards the division championship... that team won the division. No other team can claim they are the "true" champion if they lost the division. Just because Michigan and Ohio State were the two best teams in the Big Ten last year, doesn't mean Michigan wasn't a "true champion" because they played someone else in the title game. OSU lost the division, they lost.
My post was a bit of tongue and cheek anyway.
@been-there-ii kinda surprising but not really.
On a positive note, I'll be able to see the Lions play at Washington or Oregon now.
