I’ll be his biggest cheerleader and I wish him the best. He’s going to play in the bowl game and that just goes to show he’s a team player. Go get ‘em Gross-Matos we’ll be pulling for ya!

Agree and hope he has a monster Rose bowl!
Menet is staying from what I could read on PennLive lol. They don’t let you read everything lol
I don’t think he’s ready either but he reminds me more of Maurice Evens. I will be pulling for him and I’ll be a big fan just like I am all penn st players. If he can get a big payday it’s probably the best thing. He’s being very loyal to penn st for playing in the bowl game, kid had class and loyalty. The NFL will get him ready
I didn't even know he was on the team for the last four or five games. All hype player of the year.
Hard to tell him to stay when he's projected to go in the 1st round.
He’s playing in the bowl game.

For real ??? 1st round. The man becomes the invisible man first sign of a double team. I would expect 4th or 5th round, but I am hearing it is a financial decision, so even entry level NFL pay will help his family greatly.

that's not my opinion, that's the opinion of most draft boards. First rounder, most have him somewhere in the top 20. There are a few that have him early second-round
I believe he’ll do good in the NFL just needs to get stronger and whatever NFL team picks him up will get him stronger and bigger. He made the right decision IMO
Hopefully it works out for him. Shareef Miller only dressed one game so far with the Eagles this year. Word on him is he lacks upper and lower body strength and can not get off blocks or creat separation. I wish he stayed another year and developed more. We really could have used him in the rotation this year. I wonder who these players are listening too when it comes to leaving early. Miller went in the 4th round. Bates didn’t even get drafted. Deon Barnes did the same thing. Left early and was out of the league early too.
Some of these guys do some impressive strength development between declaring and playing in the NFL. More time when you don't need to go to class, you see the rewards, and you have great strength coaches?
I agree rock and miller time is better than Matos IMO but if Matos can get a big payday it’s still a good move to take the money. If these guys have it the NFL teams will get ‘em developed
