Victim #10 is expected to recant his testimony and gave a written statement that he was coached and prepared by the prosecution. His now ex-wife will back up this claim, and state she does not believe he was ever abused.
Prepare to be back in the news cycle.
I just never believed a 6’5 250lbs man that played QB in college left a kid being raped in a shower by ann old man and went home and told his daddy. Any sane person wouldn’t got the kid out at the least and called the cops. Some would’ve killed Sandusky on the spot. That’s the 2 options I see.
Just to be clear I do believe Sandusky is guilty on some of the charges I just don’t believe what Mike McQuery said. He probably seen something that made him uncomfortable but he lied on what he said he saw and if he is telling the truth he’s a terrible person and his ass needs to be in jail.
If it's working toward getting to the real truth, I don't mind seeing it in print. Getting tired of all the Dolly coverage anyway.
The Sandusky thing started long before it became a national story. I heard rumors on the radio and on the street about him starting way back in at least the mid 90’s.
Nothing anyone ever says will ever make me doubt that Sandusky is 100 percent guilty.
Likewise I will never believe that Joe was 100 percent innocent.
@psujoe if you knew and it was known on the radio then that means the cops knew and they done nothing to stop him, that’s the bottom line.
I do not know if any of you remember Sandusky's last game coaching at PSU. It was in the 1999 Alamo bowl against Texas A&M. PSU was pitching a shutout and had 2nd and 3rd string defensive players in. A&M's last drive was looking like it could end in a score and PSU put it's first string defense back in. After they stopped A&M and as the defense came off the field each of the players, including his son, gave Sandusky a respectful hug.
I do believe they Joe was completely innocent. Did he do everything he could have done? He actually said that he could have done more, but he did do what he was supposed to do and that was pass the report up the ladder.
I remember George Paterno addressing the rumors on the radio during a PSU game somewhere around the mid 90’s and saying something along the line of “let’s pray to god that these allegations aren’t true”. I’ll never forget hearing that because at the time I was a huge Sandusky fan. My father and I were sitting in his truck in the PA game lands, taking a break while hunting deer.
If George Paterno was hearing these things there’s no doubt Joe was aware.
Coincidentally it was maybe a couple years later that Joe famously told Sandusky he will never be the head coach at Penn State. Speculation started again after that.
And then there was the talk and debates I heard about Sandusky liking little boys while we were at the State college arts festival one summer.
Oh the "illustrious" Ms. Ganim...What a fleeting 15 minutes of fame she had...Mercifully I think I saw her photo on a milk carton a few months back...I still think her hatred for the program stems from her being spurned by a player on the team during her coed days...Nothing like a woman scorned...
I can tell you how I know the whole "Sandusky Scandal" was a farce...If they were serious about what went on it would have been easy to get to the bottom of it all...FOLLOW THE MONEY...Of course that never happened because the crooked Governor sealed the books of the 2nd Mile immediately and that more or less put an end to ever finding out what really went down there and how in depth this thing went...There are a few things we know...Law Enforcement were notified more than once about this...There were investigations and nothing came of it...To me what are you supposed to do? You contact law enforcement and let them handle it...Something went down that this got shoved under the rug and we will never know because they shut this down immediately...I can tell you the financials of the 2nd Mile held all of the answers to this...

I knew that whole thing was a scam when that crooked Governor with his first official act as Governor sealed the financial records of the 2nd Mile...I mean he literally did that on day 1 of his term...Sealing those financial records was the death knell to every finding out the truth and he knew that when he sealed them...What a crooked scumbag he was...

Joe Paterno was one of my idols when I was growing up but there’s no doubt he should have done more and he even admitted it.
I am not saying what happened was a farce...I think it was very real...The farce was that the police never investigated the allegations properly and the Governor sealed the financial records of the 2nd Mile on the first day he took office...To me that sounds like a cover up and makes any allegations or investigations a farce...I equate this whole matter to and call it Epstein Light...I think there was big money involved here along with some powerful people who didn't want to be named or noticed...Whoever these people are they have enough clout to control law enforcement and the Governors office to make this go away...They found a scapegoat and made this go away...They played the shell game...Lookie here while they are hiding what really went down...
The governor doesn't have the power to seal records like that, and he didn’t. Not sure where you got the idea that the governor sealed financial documents of a chairity. Governors do not have that legal power, they are restricted from doing so by federal laws regarding charitible oversight.
I read that somewhere and evidently the author was misinformed...So if the 2nd Mile Financial records were unsealed why weren't they published anywhere? I am sure there is a paper trail that would help to bring to light a lot of the shenanigans that went on...Just follow the money...I am getting too old Roam to remember where the hell I read that but anyway thank you for setting the record straight...

I think that appeal was way back in 2016. If you want to look for those documents, they are probably on ProPublica. Let it go! Joe could have only two things, report it to the state police and inform his superiors. He did both! The “I should have done more” statement is taken out of context because he was told that without solid evidence, he and the university could be subject to huge lawsuits. Besides the statement was retroactive from a very ill man. Of course, we all did things we wish we could have done more.
People like to think Joe walked around getting anything he wanted...but I was in the building seeing him being told no many times. He didn't have this god like power at PSU people seem to believe he did.
