@roaminglion I didn’t say he put winning above teachable moments. Im saying he was satisfied with a win regardless if it’s ugly. He never complained about an ugly win like Saturday against Rutgers. I’m not saying he had the same mentality as Barry Switzer about winning. I remember we beat Indiana 16-10 and reporter was complaining about how ugly the game was and Joe said “we won the game” and he laughed like he was supposed to apologize for how we won the game. Hopefully this sums up what I’m trying to say.

You litterally stated "Joe just wanted to get out with the win…period!"
What exactly do you think that means? Because what you are now claiming isnt it.
Also... AGAIN... NO! Joe WAS NOT SATISFIED regardless if it was ugly. Where are you getting this from? He cared about PLAYING WELL, not winning ugly.
I met the man, and saw him just about every day when I ran track. The man was about teaching his players to win the right way. Not to just "win even if it's ugly" I have no clue why you are saying this.
@roaminglion I stick by my statement, Joe just wanted to win the game, he could care less how ugly it was!
@psu61 if DA isn’t hurt, BP isn’t playing. And fir folks who say BP can’t throw, I call BS.
I have no idea if he can or can't throw because he has thrown about 4 passes all season...
Well, you're wrong. He cared about his players doing it right. He wouldn't be happy with sloppy games.@roaminglion I stick by my statement, Joe just wanted to win the game, he could care less how ugly it was!
