@roaminglion  first off, has that baby girl been born yet? Hope everything is going great. Roam, what is the Tides Record and where are they ranked? That’s all that matter you know good and well LSU has the players to put a good game together and beat Georgia and Alabama

So again, different standards.

What's Cincy's record and where are they ranked? If that's "all that matters", then they should be able to compete.

@roaminglion  UCF got left out because they were not a power 5 team they don’t play the competition the power 5 teams do. Every week playing in the power 5 conferences somebody is subject to beat your butt just ask Oregon and Alabama. The big 10 needs to pick up their game

Oregon lost to Washington State, and Washington State lost to a Mountain West team.

So how is it that the Mountain West teams aren't competition, but teams that lost to them are?

@roaminglion  None of them teams are in the playoffs. Only 4 spots in the playoffs.

I said from the beginning if Notre Dame was able to go 11-1, there was no way Cincy was getting left out.

Oklahoma State is probably the only team with a chance to hop over them, and they would have to win their next two game convincingly to just both ND and Cincy.

The way I'm looking at it is this: Everyone keeps saying teams like Cincy would get pounded, but no one has ever seen it. I'm tired of just hearing talk, give one of these teams a shot and see what happens. If they get pounded, fine... no different than when MSU got curb stomped or how ND seems to get their teeth kicked in routinely. I just want to see it at least once, and if they lose... they lose.

However, if Cincy plays a good game (win or lose) then maybe we will start giving some of these teams a bit more credit.

Again I will ask the same question...Who has the SEC beaten out of conference? Where is their signature win? I know that LSU got beat by UCLA and it wasn't a tight game...I know that Penn State beat Auburn in a game that was only close because the SEC packed their refs...I know that Mississippi State lost to Memphis State in a game that the SEC refs couldn't fix even though they did their level best...All I know is that they lost more out of conference games out of conference than they won...Bama beat a mediocre at best Miami team and Georgia beat an average Clemson team...That's about it...I don't wanna hear about talent levels...I only give a rip about wins and losses...That's how you judge teams...This ain't a beauty contest...I don't care about last year or 5 years ago or 10 years ago etc...What is going on THIS season is all that matters...I want you or anybody here to give me a logical reason why 2 teams from that conference belong in the CFP over other 1 loss conference champs, an undefeated Cincy or even a 1 loss Notre Dame? In my opinion the Georgia/Bama SEC title game is a playoff game...Winner is in loser is out and that is if Bama goes in to the game with only 1 loss...If Auburn beats em (and they might) now they got 2 losses...My personal opinion is I leave em all out...I don't believe the SEC is as strong a conference as the B1G, Big 12 or Pac 12 this year...The games have to matter...

UCF already made the case...The committee had egg on their faces and the whole system looked like a sham when they beat Auburn (the team that beat Bama) and were left out...You had an undefeated team who beat the team that beat the team that won the CFP and it wasn't like this happened at the beginning of the season either...You are talking about a 5 week span of time...Until you settle this stuff on the field it is nothing but a sham...As it stands now this is a sham...The SEC isn't the best conference this year...I would argue they are number 4 behind the B1G, Pac 12 and Big 12...The argument that LSU has the talent to beat anybody and Florida is good and on and on is a bunch of bullbutter...The bottom line is they didn't beat anybody and lost a lot of football games...That is the reality...You are what your record is...The truth is we really have no idea how good Georgia or Bama is cause they haven't played anybody...
