Maybe they can lure JayPa out of retirement to fill that vacancy .. anything to stop all his silly op eds from appearing in the local papers.

In all seriousness, it will be an interesting hire for the program. Considering the location and recruiting hotbed, the right coach can turn that program around in a year or two. Throw money at the facilities, amenities and the right messaging to recruits, bam, back in the race.
I also think the situation goes to show just how difficult it is to get everything to align at the same time (location, coach, recruiting..) regardless of the program. Saban, Myers, Carroll, and the likes are really few and far between.
