I believe Allen hits the holes better and he gets more yards after contact which makes the OL better. Man we’ve got 2 really good RB’s but imo Allen should be the starter in the Ohio State game. I’m not taking a shot at Singleton because he’s good I just believe Allen is a foot ahead today.
If Singleton picks up the humble competitive chip on the shoulder that Allen plays with, IMO, then there will be two exceptional RBs in the backfield. I like Singleton, he has the jets and the muscle, but Allen just runs with a different type of purpose from what I see. IMO he understands that 2-3 yards is a good run when there is nothing else there, but then has the vision when the hole opens and explodes; and I love how he just runs through a defender vs trying to 'hit' him.
Allen plays like an "old school" RB. That's what I like about him.

JF should have given these kids 4 games to prove themselves and then named the better one the starter for the rest of the season while the other redshirts. Allen is the better back IMO and is the type of workhorse that’s good enough and deserves 20-25 touches per game.
I for one, can't believe Clifford didn't take a dive when Minny was up by 3. I mean, we were losing, right? That's his usual pattern according to The Blue Tighten.
At the game last night a few people in front of us were claiming that Lee has informed the coaches that he intends to portal.
@psujoe IMO he’s making a mistake if it’s about playing time. He’s going to get to play he’s just not going to be the man. I hope he stays because we need a dependable 3rd RB and he is perfect for that. I wish him the best if he does leave, I just hope he stays.
@southern-psu-fan I thought it made sense at first because it looked like he could redshirt and sit out the rest of the season which would save him a year of eligibility. But now it looks like he’s played in 5 games so I’m not sure he’d be able to do that.
