So you loved college football when kids were taken advantage of and there wasn't any focus on education whatsoever (kids couldn't READ), payoffs were rampant, etc. etc. etc... but now since kids can transfer, they get a stipend that equals out to the cost of education, and they have good facilities to practice in... that's a bridge too far?
Good points Roam. It’s all a matter of perspective. During Paterno’s run, we’re kids taken advantage of? No doubt under Bryant, only winning counted.
Exceptions are few and far between. We all know what kind of nonsense was going on back then. Of course some schools and coaches were above board, but on whole it was widespread corruption
