@psujoe  That’s exactly what I’m afraid of Remoh. This won’t have a good ending. I guess Tesla and Toyota is what I’ll be buying…maybe Kia

Well you're buying non union cars then... so I guess you support the automakers getting rid of unions?

Can't really have it both ways... you can't say you support unions, but then say you'll have to buy cars that non union companies make. LMAO.

@roaminglion  If Ford moves all jobs to Mexico is what I’m talking about. If Ford stays here I’ll continue to buy ford even if they’re not union. I support Unions but I’m not a nut about it. At my company we have unions and nonunion plants.

I’ve never been a union supporter and never will be. It’s kinda obvious to me that the Autoworkers Union is on the verge of destroying the big 3 as we know them.

Not a big supporter of Ametican Unions either. Thry are corrupt and completely out to lunch.

The ones I can't stand the most are the teachers unions. They are one of the biggest reasons our education system has gone into the toilet.

Unions have destroyed several high profile companies in this area and they are on the verge of destroying the big 3 automakers. Their demands are beyond ridiculous, a buddy of mine watches news on PBS and he said they interviewed some workers that are on strike and they said they don’t agree with the demands and want to go back to work.

IMO if you are a union, you should not be allowed to participate in anything political. Endorsing a politician, or lobbying Congress is literally forcing people to pay into a group that they dont align with just to be able to work.

I just want to add one thing about unions. We have plants that are union and nonunion. Don’t be to hard on the unions because just where I work we get to enjoy most of the perks that unions fight for including higher wages. I’m not a union guy but imo we do need ‘em.

Sounds like the strike is over. Did the workers get what they wanted? I  read an article about electric cars might be in trouble. The article said nobody is buying them. Is it they can’t afford to buy them or they don’t want them? If it’s people not wanting them the car makers have got a big problem.I ain’t heard Clark Howard say anything lately and that’s who I try and listen too.

Not sure what the heck you are reading, but it's dead wrong. Q2 of this year broke records, and EV sales were up 50% from the previous year. By July of this year, more EVs were sold in the first half of the year than all of 2019.

Possibly what you are seeing is some dealers having too much EV inventory because their first EVs... well.... suck. Kia, Hyundai, Tesla, etc. are selling a ton of EVs, mosy likely because they are actually good cars and not POS like some of the dealers were trying to sell.

@roaminglion I can’t put the article up but look this up and you’ll see it on Fox business.

Ford stock plunges 12% on news of wider EV losses

Ford lost nearly $37K on every electric vehicle sold in the third quarter

I just hope they got something worked out before I have to buy a new car. I’m hoping I’m good for 5 or 10 years but you never know.

@southern-psu-fan That's just Ford, not EV's.

As I said the industry is doing exceptionally well, but some of the companies arent because their current EVs arent very good.
