The squad has little to no power whatsoever, and Biden just won the primary showing most Democrats nationwide aren't huge leftists like the Republicans would have you believe. Remember the Tea Party? All the rage back in 2010, not so much now. Sure some of them are left, have some influence, but not all that much.

Simple fact is AOC has no power whatsoever, just fame. There is a big difference between the two, yet you and others act like she's some huge person in the democratic party that influences everyone. The speaker of the house even said she's inconsequential. Actions of the democratic base all point to it being centrist, but conservatives continually focus on the minority of the party that hasn't changed anything other than their own Twitter numbers. WHO CARES.

I mean, the biggest thing AOC ever got "done" was a NON BINDING agreement called the Green New Deal. It doesn't do anything, isn't something that will ever happen, and Biden didn't endorse it. LMFAO.

The dude we have now has done a pretty good job so far and him and mayor Bottoms had a disagreement but they worked it out. Don't worry, I think all the political talk will be completely gone in about a month, for now it's relegated to the water cooler... under normal circumstances I don't think anyone would really be talking politics, but right now it's pretty obvious the owner is letting us talk about it due to everything going on.

For my part, I will commit to no longer talking about it from here on out

I agree with Southern here. I don’t think that message has always been there? In fact, I think we were told to take it to The Water Cooler to have these discussions. I have no hard feelings toward any of you guys and I’ll refrain from the political discussions also as long as the underlying right wing innuendos aren’t allowed as I implored Caven to stop that nonsense back in March and nothing happened. I said it will did use those on the board.  That’s when I couldn’t take any more of the unopposed talk and made comments myself. Fair enough though. It’ll be crickets around here until B1G football starts.

Actually, the no politics rule was there for as long as I can remember. (yes, I have a bad memory) But since we couldn't stay away form politics, it was suggested to take it to the water cooler to get the political discussions off the football page.
