@navylion Well, he popped in long enough to post the Junk Yard Dog on the Football board. But hey, never hurts to see what he's up to....for all we know he went hunting for moose sheds again.
@been-there-ii I shot him an e-mail. He's usually pretty good about replying back. I'll tell him to muster on station ASAP or were gonna report him awol!
I know camping isn't considered a sport, but is sure is in-tents!
What's the difference between a Dad joke and a bad joke?
The 1st letter.
Gentlemen, there were some damn fine jokes on here. Some I'm even going to steal. I aint been shed hunting although that will happen in a few more weeks. I bought this new evaporator for my sugar shack and that been a project getting it assembled and up to speed. It didnt help that the company I bought it from shipped it on three different days. I'm trying to rig it so I'm not out collecting the sap as often as I've done in years past. I'm trying a gravity feed from the taps to collection bins and then pump it from the bins to my shack. That's not going too well either plus the damned squirrels are chewing my lines as fast as I can get them run. Sap shpould be flowing in about 4-7 days so i gotta get my butt in gear.
BT: My neighbor's bush is still there ready to be tapped if you're interested. I know you go all ape-shit for red heads so she's right up your alley......you and NL could tag-team on her. She really dont look half-bad with her mask on. I dont know if she's into curling or not but when she takes that mask off it'll curl you toes.
I got some bad news the other day. I found out they're not making yardsticks any longer.
I also heard they're changing the name of the candy bar "Payday" because the name is offensive to people that dont work.
Thanks for the lead on the red, but I wouldn't want to mow your grass so to speak.
Kinda though you were wrapped up tappin' your sap, but I was getting a little concerned. Semper Fi brother
That's ok, 36 inches covers what I'm draggin', I use a tape when I'm measuring wood.
Speaking of measuring and cutting, did you see where that poor guy got his entire left side cut off in a freak accident?
He's all right now.
@been-there-ii: I'm guessing the yardstick comment went over your head??
@tsuga lol Nope, you weren't thinking in the proper frame of perversion or my reply may have been a little too subtle.
As this is a family, PG rated, Forum, I tried to tone it down a bit. What I was trying to point out is, I can get by with standard 36" yard stick when "it's" hanging low...or wrapped around my waist. However, when I'm measuring non-limber timber, I have to go with a tape measure. Thus, a longer yardstick, unless it was a lot longer, wouldn't help me out much.
