Does anyone plan to watch them? Whats your favorite and least favorite event? As for me, I"ll watch them here and there but wont be glued to the TV. My favorite event is the downhill skiing and my least favorite would have to be figure skating. In my opinion, the skating venue gets too much press coverage and not enough coverage goes to the other events.
Something tells me you'll be rooting for the country that has the most medals and then claim " I was born in that country and we moved here when I was six so I have dual citizenship"
Sadly it won't explain your flip flopping for two weeks as the medals count lead changes hands multiple times.
I probably won't watch too much of it only because I have so much other things on my plate right now. However, I'm really into the curling events. Why? Because that is the only Olympic event where an old fart like me has a chance to compete. I could easily be the guy that sweeps the ice.
Is it the Biathalon where they ski and shoot? That one is pretty cool too. The whole figure skating thing ain't my bag either.
Maybe we could get a geriatric team together and give the rest of the world a run for their money!!
haha I can still shoot, but my X-country equipment is in the barn covered in pigeon crap. I do have clean snowshoes though!
Clean snowshoes it is. That's all I got anyway, not much of a skier at all.
