Metal detecting! Anyone own a detector? I've been doing it for a couple years now and at times it becomes an obsession.
Yes, I do. I usually start around May. The ground is just to saturated right now. I've never found anything interesting yet. Bolts, railroad spikes, and hundreds of beer tabs from the 60-80's.
LMAO ! Once again you have no clue what you are doing and better do some research or maybe buy a real detector not one that's sold at Harbor Freight. I've found everything from Civil War artifacts to gold and silver rings and also a pile of old coins with the oldest being a 1723 Hibernia Half Penny.
P.S. I was out in that "saturated ground" today and found a Seated Liberty Half Dime.
Lol, yeah.
Great ! Let's see some photos of your big treasures. It just so happens y oure that guy that found bags of coins. Lay off the booze.
What kind do you have? Tell me what kind , how much did you pay ? I will be looking forward to seeing your photos and hearing more BS about your treasures that you never found.
Perhaps you two should pick a date and go out detecting together?? Remoh can offer you some tips on how to to operate a metal detector and you can maybe dig up a date for him. This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship!
Once Again LMAO !! I have a Minelab CTX3030 and am currently on the waiting list for the new Minelab Equinox 800 I have also owned a couple different Garrett detectors. As far as price you can look it up for yourself.
P.S. I never said I found "treasure" but did say I've found Civil War artifacts and a pile of old coins. I see your reading comprehension still sucks,
.
Congrats, you have a 2500 dollar metal detector. Knock yourself out! It's probably worth more than the car you drive. I'm a beginner, but you are an expert treasure finder. Again, who cares. I'll give you a medal. Lmao. I assume your a expert skier too. That's for wussys
Way to respect cavensprawl new forum! Didn't take long for someone like you to destroy it. You have anger problems pal.
And again LMAO!! I am not angry nor have I posted anything that insinuates that I am so obviously your reading comprehension is getting worse by the minute.
P.S. I've dug silver coins in Valley View, Lavelle, Minersville, Ashland, Shenandoah and the surrounding area but left the pulltabs for you and your Harbor Freight detector to find.
I have cars not "car" and no my detector isn't worth more than any of them. It's probably close to the same value of one of the street bikes I own.
P.S. I'm far from an expert skier or metal detectorist and have never claimed to be either.
Yeah ok, now you claim you visited every town in Schuylkill county and found all of these coins and valuable treasures. The BS keeps getting bigger. You make it sound as if you are some millionaire that has all of these expensive toys. Next you'll tell me your treasures are worth over 100 thousand dollars. Pffft ! I need my waders now, that's how deep this BS is getting.
Once again I've said no such things, your reading comprehension is definitely getting worse by the minute.
You're attitude stinks, obvious anger problems bud. Go get a girlfriend. Maybe she will knock some sense in you.
Good Lord. Same old garbage from the guy once known as the Pennlive forum fool.
But yet take a look at the fool who starts it.
Your first post in this thread proved that you don't know a darn thing about metal detecting. Maybe you should go back and read it then do some research and figure out where it went wrong. If you can figure it out I guarantee your results will vastly improve. Or I guess your other option is remain a baby and feel insulted because someone has a more expensive detector than you ever will. One thing for sure is that reporting this thread as inappropriate as you have done will get you nowhere.
Lmao...Believe me, I'm not trying to compete with you, nor do I care as much as you about metal detecting. I don't care if you buy 50 metal detectors at 3500 dollars each. Your blood pressure is high. Only losers compare their belongings to what others have.
