@navylion   Uncle A!!!!  Im home now but have been checking in with him (grandma) daily.  He's been sleeping most days, no energy.  I didnt know that you e-mailed.  I actually have access to his yahoo account now.  I'll have to jump on there and answer......or call him up and light a fire under his butt.  How are things going for you and your mother and sister??

You're breaking regs by posting anything other than wrestling on here.  Sure hope the forum police dont jump on here and cite us both for non compliance!!! LOL!!!!

I'm trying to hang out here on the wrestling board as opposed to the football board.  I promised Mr Lake I'd converse with him about our beloved Nits.  Its a good group of guys here.  Everyone is respectful.

two things:

I really hope your grandma and especially grandpa are recuperating and there is nothing of a more serious nature. They are in our thoughts.

Great PSU OSU wrestling moments as above....... In that same 2018 dual, I like #1 Bo majoring #2 Martin, without it PSU would not have won. Martin looked so broken. Add to that, NR Cassar beating #1 Kollin Moore at 197. Great dual in a year OSU was expected to win a national title in their home state. The dual setting the stage for the NCAA's.

Think I'm going to start hanging in here as well. I don't have near the collegiate wrestling acumen guys like you and Lake have, but I sure do love the sport!!

Acumen??  Let me just say that UL has been pretty much spot on with his predictions.  Lake and I...well....not so much.  Here's what we all have in common: We all love wrestling; We're all former wrestlers; and we all love PSU.  I think that's pretty much all the requirements needed to be here.

Dont think you have to worry about the police over here, they're all still whining about the NFL's overtime rule. That should keep them all busy till at least mid-March.

@thepakid lol Only if SPF doesn't give in....and I'm pretty sure he won't. He's every bit as hardheaded as I am. And maybe as hardheaded as someone in your family lineage. Feel free to pass that on to him when, you next have verbal intercourse with the Man.

That and he best get going on getting his stamina back or he won't be tapping the neighbors bush this year.

How about RBY and Nick Lee knocking off Pletcher and McKenna in back to back bouts in Columbus a few years back?

Some good matches listed by you guys, some I'd forgotten about.  I picked the Snyder/Nevills bout because Nick was expected to lose by at least a MD thus giving the match to OSU on criteria.  Nickster went toe-toe with the reining Olympic gold medalist and only lost by a decision thus clinching the win for us.  I know that there were a quite a few surprises that night but his had to be the biggest.  It sure is fun to travel down memory lane every now and again.

Uncle B, I know exactly who in my family you're referring to.  You're right, my grandmother can be pretty tenacious and hardheaded when she gets a mind to.  I'll be sure to pass that one to Pap when I chat with him this week.

You really need to come up here and see this woman for yourself.  The best picture I can paint for you is Alfred E. Neuman with boobs.

Some of the topics you guys talk about over there crack me up.  I guess its not the topics so much as the repetitiveness of it all.  Once that horse has been beaten to death, there are those that gut it, skin it, quarter it and then use the bones to make tools with.  SPF is a good egg, I had a beer with him.  In fact, I'd have a beer with a good many of you

Ironic since people seem to be still whining about one request to use the proper forum weeks later.

Just sayin' 🤷‍♂️

LMAO 🤣

@thepakid LOL Yes, your poor Grandfather is a Saint! Let's hope and pray it's a while before they canonize him.

I think fishing with Navy and I, while smoking medicinal herbs, is on the bucket list. We'll see what happens. Since you and T both paint the same picture of her, I may let Uncle A. do a little recon and report back to me.

haha You forgot hand cutting the meat into jerky strips and drying it. Don't forget taking the broken bone tools and grinding them into bone meal to fertilize the next topic of conversation. It's all in fun though, keep 'em out of trouble in the off season.

@roaminglion I cracked up when I saw this becauese  the topic "Exactly Why I Hate NFL Overtime Rules" which isn't Penn State Football material has 57 responses and growing. All this after a very energetic and lengthy discuss. I haven't opened that topic and haven't read a single post. All good, just made me chuckle.

Sorry if it came across confrentational, but the "LMAO 🤣" at the end of my post was meant to show I also see the humor in all of it.

Just in good fun, not meant to be anything other than a good poke. Lol
