I'm going to take 6 winners. The fantastic 4 + Cassar and Young. I'll go with the same for Nationals except Young. He'll have his hands full with Yianni Diakomihalis.
As much as I pull for all PSU wrestlers to win I don't think he'll fair well against Yianni. He is from a neighboring H.S. and have followed him since his H.S. Sophomore year and is heck of a wrestler. I believe Nick Lee would be the PSU wrestler that would face Yianni if they got to the finals, wouldn't he?

I don’t think Cassar can beat Steveson but should be close. I don’t think RBY can beat Yani either. If Shakur Rasheed is totally healthy, that is to say no problems with his knee and in wrestling shape, I’m calling for an upset over Martin. I’ve just not been overwhelmed with Martin when I’ve seen him.
Cenzo is on upset alert. Hall is on a mission. Nolf & Nickal are untouchable. Cessar winning would be a huge upset. Lee & RBY will be interesting but not confident they will both win. Shakur will be the most fun watching. Really pulling for him but Myles Martin is very very good. We have no shot at winning at 125 or 147.
I see it pretty much the same way. My questionables: Cenzo on upset alert with Marinelli but VJ always answers his critics. The field is too strong for RBY but I think this tournament prepares him tp AA at nationals. Lee and McKenna in finals but OSU guy gets his wind back, these 2 at nationals will be very interesting. I’m calling the upset at 184. If Martin isn’t ahead by period 3, he isn’t winning. I just haven’t been that impressed with MM from what I’ve seen. Can’t wait!
I think PSU wins this going away, even with an upset or two with wrestlback points. However, I also don’t think Cael and Co put all their eggs in one basket with winning the B1G Tournament. If you watched Cenzo battle IMar in last year’s B1G finals, he wrestled pretty conservative and didn’t show a lot. Two weeks later at NCAAs, Cenzo let it fly and showed all his tools and tricks while dismantling IMar...again. It only really matters in 2 weeks. However, taking a B1G trophy with Tan Tom and the Brands Bros. Watching sure would be sweet also.
Cenzo needs to win to lock up top seed at Nationals. Taking 2nd would put him in bottom bracket with a semifinal match he’d rather not had. He will be going all out this weekend. At this point in his career, there aren’t any surprises in his bag of tricks.

165 is loaded no matter which side of the bracket he gets. It’s going to be a meat grinder no matter what. But, he has looked even more impressive this year than last so I have confidence that he’ll do well.

100% correct on the depth of 165 and it doesn’t matter much. If Cenzo wins the B1G then Marinelli & Marstella will battle in the semis. But that would put our guy against the tough kid from Michigan in the semis. 133 is just like 165...a beast of a weight class!

Evan Wick and Isiah White are pretty good also.
Mark Hall won a tough match lol. Man I hate Joseph lost but I believe he’ll bounce back in the ncaa championships
Man Bo is one tough customer
Cassar won lol
