Cassar is such a great story, he works so hard and should be a beast again next year. I am under the impression that Rasheed and Cassar will be getting their medical redshirts.

Also, I assume Rasheed was not hurt but also not quite 100% so they held him out just in case to better heal for the Nattys

Great tournament from a great team but I think it could have, should have, gone better. RBY is really good with lots of future upside so I hope he learned a lot this weekend. I think he AA’s in Pittsburgh. Lee will AA and either way he’ll be seeded with either McKenna or the other side with the kid from Cornell, best possible finish is 3. I hope Berge is not injured, either way I can’t see him AA. I LOVED watching Nolf destroy Berger. Supposedly after the match when shaking hands Berger said “next time”, he must be a glutton for punishment. Cenzo lost to Imar last year in 10’s then came back to beat him. He didn’t look 100% today but hope he gets it together in Pittsburgh. Mark Hall always finds a way to win, I loved the recorder in the Thon bet. I’m hoping not a serious medical issue for Rasheed, I still say he can take down Mile Martin, though MM seems like a really nice guy. Bo and Cassar...just wow. I heard that was the first time he’s been taken down as a Collegian. On to Pittsburgh, I’m excited.

It’s hard to doubt Cenzo when the bright lights are on, however, he needs to develop some low attacks against Marinelli.  The upper body ties don’t seem to work against him. Cael and co will have him ready in 2 weeks.

I totally mean this is a good way.... but how spoiled are we by this team???

4 BT Champs, 2 runners up, 9 total NCAA qualifiers, a 30+ point victory and we're all like "could have been better"

😂😂😂😂😂

Cael has built an absolute monster.

  • Yes he has Roam. Maybe the most dominant college sports team ever. I believe they’re that good.

RBY needs to be more focused. Cenzo was taken to the cleaners. Not sure he can beat Marinelli now; hope I am wrong. Hall needs to be more aggressive. Can you imagine if the guy from Minnesota wrestled like Nolf!  Cassar is a great story. The next match will be different. Not saying he will lose, but more scoring will happen.  I think Shakur’s knee is not good and will be more apparent at the Nationals. Berge is a good wrestler but definitely not an elite guy like his teammates.

Sanderson wrestlers don’t walk away from a loss any dumber, that’s why I think he’ll come back to beat Marinelli in Pittsburgh. I don’t think he can go upper body with Marinelli, he’s just too strong, maybe work on some leg attacks and work heavy hands and head snaps.

Don't be surprised to see a much improved Berge next year. I believe he had a lot of trouble cutting weight this year and will benefit from the move up to 157.

I don’t know, he defeated Lugo in overtime and Ashnault barely beat Lugo in a dual. Lugo is known for his motor. I wonder what the nature of his default was, hope it’s nothing that will nag him in Pittsburgh. That said,  he could look good at 157 next year

Cenzo was beating Marinelli last year until he went up top and got thrown for 5. Last Sunday Cenzo looked lackadaisical in the finals. I don’t think it’s a sure thing they will meet in the finals in Pittsburgh. Am looking forward to the tournament. There are a lot of wrestlers who have unfinished business to take care of.

I'm with you Sky. Joseph had his hands full at the Scuffle with Marsteller.  Only beat him by a point.

Actually Marinell threw Joseph for 6. Almost a pin. I was at that match and it was breathtaking.
