No one will ever be happy. Literally last year you were saying that it's great we have a playoff... now it's here and it's a scam.Regardless of who come up with it, it’s a BS scam to control who they want in. Its all about a few conferences controlling all the money.

It’s mostly the same as it’s always been. When it comes down between who gets the last at large bid some more deserving team will most likely get screwed.
@roaminglion it’s better than it was but I’ll never be happy with teams getting into the playoffs without earning their way in. I don’t want teams getting in the playoffs with someones opinion.
The secret to how they "control" these playoffs is simple...They create a computer program with a bunch of meaningless statistics to muddy up everything and try to create confusion...I call it the ole shell game...They try to convince you that a win isn't as important as their statistics and that a loss is somehow sometimes better than a win...My old coaches would have loved these people...The use this to stack the seedings and who plays who to create the matchups they want so this avoids the sacred cows from having to travel to an unfriendly environment to play a game...See they don't want these teams playing teams outside of the circle so guys like Southern can say these are the big boys and these teams can't compete with the big boys...So they don't want a team like Alabama traveling out to Boise, Idaho to play Boise State for 2 reasons...The first reason its not their preferred climate for a game and the 2nd reason is even more cogent as they are afraid they will lose and now the narrative and the fallacy is debunked...If a team can lose to Vanderbilt then Boise State can sure as hell beat them...So that is the name of the game here...
@the-funeral-director But BYU,Boise State,Utah,Vanderbilt, the Big12 and all west coast teams suck!

Guys, I just play the cards that’s dealt to us. My opinion is only what the system gives us.
@the-funeral-director What happened to Oregon the last time Georgia played ‘em? It was a mismatch Oregon didn’t have the studs to compete. A team with studs would’ve found a way to win regardless of how the win comes just like Penn St did at USC. These smaller lightweights do get a shot every year in the first 2 or 3 games before conference play starts. Boise State got a shot at Oregon and didn’t get it done. The heavyweights get much better as the season goes and you see it on the field you saw what Cincinnati and TCU got playing the top dawgs of the SEC it got down right nasty for both teams getting destroyed. My opinion is only what the system gives me I’m all for these teams in a 16 or 24 teams playoff but that’s not what we have.
Yes , Southern only sees what he wants to see or what he is told it looks like.
Yet TCU beat Michigan... you always skip over that part.@the-funeral-director What happened to Oregon the last time Georgia played ‘em? It was a mismatch Oregon didn’t have the studs to compete. @roaminglion TCU is a big 12 team but considering they didn’t win the big 12 championship I didn’t believe they should’ve been in the playoffs that year. Has TCU won the big 12 I wouldn’t have had a problem with them being in. Only conference champs should’ve been in the playoff games imo under the old system. You saw with your own eyes what Georgia did to ‘em and if I remember correctly Alabama beat the crap out of K-State as well that year. As the funeral director says, these games have to matter. A team like TCU loses the last game of the year and still makes the playoffs is total BS!!!
I also thought is was BS that Ohio St and Alabama getting into the playoffs when they didn’t win the conference championship.
@roaminglion You saw with your own eyes what Georgia did to ‘em
Yes, I also saw what TCU did to Michigan. You keep saying games should matter, then keep insisting TCU shoudn't have been there and is a lightweight even though they beat the undefeated Big Ten Champion.
@roaminglion under a 4 team playoff if you didn’t win your conference championship you didn’t belong in the playoffs. Getting rewarded for losing the last game of the season is BS. K-State won the big 12 on the field against TCU so imo they should’ve went to the playoffs. On field results didn’t matter.
Just stop calling TCU a lightweight when they went out and beat Michigan when it mattered most.@roaminglion under a 4 team playoff if you didn’t win your conference championship you didn’t belong in the playoffs. Getting rewarded for losing the last game of the season is BS. K-State won the big 12 on the field against TCU so imo they should’ve went to the playoffs. On field results didn’t matter.
Michigan didnt play Georgia because TCU beat them.
@roaminglion where did I call them a lightweight? Michigan got the shit beat out of them the year before by Georgia. TCU is a lightweight but I didn’t say it there. Look at ‘em now, back to mediocre at best.
Georgia 65 TCU 7
Georgia 34 Michigan 11
LOL, but Michigan is still a "big dawg"? They needed to cheat to win and now lose to Washington.... another team you've called soft in the past.@roaminglion where did I call them a lightweight? Michigan got the shit beat out of them the year before by Georgia. TCU is a lightweight but I didn’t say it there. Look at ‘em now, back to mediocre at best.

However you still call Michigan a big dawg and TCU is a lightweight. Yeah okay.
