#1 Oregon
#2 Texas
#3 Penn St
#4 Georgia
#5 Ohio St
I have LSU on the outside looking in this week. I only rank the top 5 teams because this is where the big dawgs play.
I bet you are just beside yourself being able to ACTUALLY put Penn State in there after 6 weeks of football! LOL
GO STATE!!!
Yes sir! Get the LB’r position fixed and we will go undefeated. I believe we are that good.
I feel the DE's are killing us, we get no push or pressure without sending blitzes.
@roaminglion I just believe when #11 is playing LB’s we’re better on defense. The dude flies to the ball and makes plays. I thought he would work at DE and it ain’t worked out like I thought it would. Fast LB’s hide a lot of flaws if you have ‘em. He’s much better in pass defense too. Just what I see anyway
All I know is #11 dropped an easy pick 6 interception late in the 4th quarter against USC that would have ended the game! Parsons and Arrington would have had bacon, eggs and home fries, a cup of tea and THEN waltzed into the endzone for a TD and pastry! LOL
Got to make those clutch plays against the big boys down the road!
Go State!!!
@mtnittanylion I agree but he was in position to make the play because he’s a very good LB’r
13 and 41 will be studs one day they just need a little more time to get stronger and faster and develop. They’re young. I believe 41 is a jr but I’m not sure.
Of course USC might just have a great OL it’s their defense that’s been struggling.
I don’t get the big 10 magazines anymore I use to keep up with all the players I just don’t have the time anymore. I know most of ‘em number and names but I’m subject to get players mixed up that’s not on the field a lot 😂
#11 needs to consistently step it up and stop listening to the pundits. In some games it looked as though he down right took it off or was playing not to get hurt. Did you ever see Posluszny, Lee, Arrington et. al. without their motor running at full speed?
Will be interesting to see his impact as the season wears on; hopefully he turns it up a level or two.

Agreed !! Everyone says he’s a sure fire 1st round draft pick but sometimes he’s a lot more hype than substance.
@psu61 the only thing I see is #11 not getting to the QB playing DE and getting man handled on some plays. He’s not a DE he’s a LB ‘r and it’s showing up on the field. When he’s playing LB’r he’s getting to the football. He’s made some plays playing DE but it ain’t working out like I thought it would. Put him back at LB’r and we’ll see a better defense. Make no mistake, he’s a bad ass LB’r
IMO he wasn't bad ass last year as a LB; a lot to prove on the field the remained of this year.

He showed flashes of excellence but as someone else said it seemed like he took games off.
He can be a good player, no doubt. I just don't think he is as focused as he should be. Remember the Arrington Leap? That is being focused. When you get the timing down like Arrington did, then you can call yourself a big time Penn State LB'er!
I like the kid, I think he is going to to help us the rest of the way, but he needs to dial it in and become an Elite player....and he has the tools to do so! I know I busted on him for dropping that interception, but I saw the excitement in him and I think THAT play may have just woke him up....and I mean in a good way. He liked that rush of adrenaline!
GO STATE!
