I don’t know how you could possibly rank the top LBs at PSU in a top 5? I’m not even sure you could condense that iconic list into a top 10. For what it’s worth, Ham himself has said Poz is the best LB to ever wear the Blue and White. I’ll take a crack at the top 5 guys I’ve seen, which leaves guys like Buttle, Onkontz, and Ham off the list since the were before my time.

You are exactly right Roam but where do you put him? I honestly forgot about Lavar but did he have the NFL career that these guys did in my list. Seems like Derek Wake got better in the NFL but he was still a stud at penn st he just played on a bad team. IMO 03 was the weakest team we’ve ever had and I think that when Derek was at penn st? I would’ve had Bowman at #2 had he not got hurt
The great Jack Ham is a class act and very modest. Sounds like something he would say but I’ll tell ya what the greatest joe paterno said about Jack Ham when the reporter was asking him about comparing his LB’s at Penn st. He said nobody compares to Jack Ham lol We got The great Jack Ham and then everybody else lol
