That game is worrying me. I haven’t seen any of their games but from what I’ve read they seem to be playing really good ball and getting better every week. If we happen to lose to them and OSU or someone else it’s doubtful that we make the playoff IMO. I don’t think we make the playoffs with 2 losses unless our second loss is in the B1G championship game.

@southern-psu-fan I have to agree with them for once, the passing game is once again becoming a serious issue. #44 is good but eventually teams are going to find a way to shut the one man receiving corps down. It’s become obvious that Fleming doesn’t have what it takes to make much of a difference so it’s time for one of the younger guys to step up.

We run the table and lose to Ohio State, we will stay in the top 12.......unless we lose like 44-7. And even then, I think PSU stays in. Why? This is the first year of the new system, Penn State will draw a big crowd, and with 12 teams in it, they will want the $$$ and they will get it from Penn State.

Fleming had 2 key fourth down receptions picking up 1st downs. Could be just what the doctor ordered to bust him loose. I think we'll see more of him from here on out.
Not all losses are the same... we get blown out twice we arent making it, but we lose two close games to OSU and Wisky I think we'd make it. Barely...

Nah, I don't agree. If we lose to Ohio State in a close game we'd still go to the playoff. We dont need to be in the BT Championship. They arent leaving a 1 loss PSU out, especially if that 1 loss is a close one to OSU.
What do you say if we JUST beat Ohio State for a change and not worry about all of this nonsense! That is the sure way to make it in. Unless, of course, we have some late season melt down.
I can't speak for the players, but dang I look at that #3 Ranking at 6 games into the season and that just STANDS OUT to me! It has to do something for these players too. We have played them tight in State College the past 7 years and and I have a feeling the streak ends this season!
