@navylion QB is now a little thin unless they get someone to transfer in. Bowens and Levis transferring out and Villeaux is only a true freshman. Clifford and Roberson are the only other scholarship QBs. Franklin has said in the past he wants 5 scholarship QBs in the roster.
@lionbacker99: LB, what about this Martell kid from Miami?? Is he worth a look?? I know he went from OSU to Miami and is in the portal again but he may pique some interest.
@tsuga No thanks to Martell. Luke McCaffrey (Christian’s brother and son of NFLer Ed) entered the portal yesterday transferring out of Nebraska. I’d think he would be more attractive than Martell. I liked Hendon Hooker from VT, but he signed with Tennessee. Although, he signed there before the coach was fired and a new one hired, so I’m not sure where that leaves him?
We’ve missed on a few QB’s so IMO losing all the QB’s in the portal below Roberson is probably a good thing we just need to recruit better at the QB position. I believe Lee will carry the offense this year we just need Clifford to take better care of the ball like he did the last 4 games.we’ve already won 11 games with Clifford so we know it can be done with a good running game. Hopefully Clifford will have a great Sr year and get us in the playoffs. I think Clifford can get it done with a good running game.

I'm with ya on Martell, he can't seem to make up his mind on where he wants to play...without having to work for a starting job.
