@been-there-ii...One of the true marks of Lombardi's greatness, (if what he did in GB isnt enough for anyone) is what he could do with a supremely less talented team, bearing in mind Belichick flamed out in Cleveland..
After retiring for a year. and apparently bored in retirement, Lombardi took on the Washington Redskins, a team coming off 14 straight losing seasons, and a 5-9 season..LOmbardi turned it around instantly, going 7-5-2 No telling what he would have done there, if not for losing his life to the dreadful disease To me, that yr was right up there with all his other amazing achievements..
