Buffalo up on Rutgers 35-6...
Can we just swap these two schools in the Big Ten? Buffalo is a better fit for our conference anyway. They have decent sports, are an AAU school and the flagship university of New York, and fit better with the midwest feel as a school on the Great Lakes.
Honestly I never really thought about it, but they actually would fit in nicely. Their athletic department is just about on par with Rutgers as well, finishing close to them the the Directors Cup. That's in the MAC too.
Of course I am a bit bias, as I lived in Buffalo for 6 years. Went back recently and woah... The downtown and surrounding areas are really coming back. Pagula built a beautiful area around the hockey arena.
That sounds pretty good but I think we're stuck with what we got. The B1G administrators are focused on maintaining a presence in NYC metro area. I didn't realize that Buffalo was an AAU institution. Maybe they're a possibility for future expansion. It strengthens the territory around the Great Lakes. It adds an institution in an adjacent state.
Man Rutgers stinks! Purdue is giving BC a butt kicking too, they also had a chance to beat Missouri last week, they’ve lost some tough games this year.
