Top 100 player, DT Liam Andrews committed to PSU yesterday. He’s the #1 ranked player in Massachusetts. He had offers from all the big boys. PSU, Wisconsin, Florida, ND, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Miami, Oklahoma, Tennessee, USC, South Carolina, etc.
Today, PSU got an another commitment from Top 247 player DT TA Cunningham out of Miami. He also has offers from all the big boys. PSU, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, USC, Washington, etc.
This isn’t second tier recruiting. Franklin and Co can go toe to toe with anyone on the recruiting trail. Also, kudos to new DL coach Deion Barnes in reeling in these big fellas.
Further, Andrews is ranked just behind Umeh as a DT recruit (13 vs 14). Both Andrews and Cunningham are ranked well ahead of Palepale. Both guys already have significant size also. Andrews is 6’5” 260. Cunningham is 6’6” 275 with a supposed 6’8” wingspan.
Penn State now has the #6 overall ranked recruiting class in the country sandwiched between Alabama and USC. Big boy recruiting.

Yes Andrews is a great get, probably one of the best JF has pulled in over the last 3 years, TA is a good get but also a questionable one and definitely 2nd tier.
@psujoe Cunningham committed this afternoon. So, no not late. Right on it. Not second tier. His offer list is 30+ schools. Ranked way higher than Palepale. Let us know how the crow tastes.
