I’ve also heard we may go after the kid from Cincinnati that’s rated as the #1 QB in the portal and has connections to someone on our new staff.

I haven’t watched the Iowa St QB play but I have the Florida QB and he’s average in the games I’ve watched. Florida is 4-8 for a reason.

@southern-psu-fan when a team is throwing mostly 8 yard dink and dunk passes that obviously equates to the probability of a higher completion percentage but in no way equates to better QB play.
if Penn State had such great QB play this season why did their starter fall from the projected #1 draft pick to being a guy that’s a third rounder at best?
@psujoe imo the defense is what killed this year. I’m not saying we were good on offense but the numbers are for 2025. DA was around 64% and Grunk was 69%. Turnovers in the Oregon and NW game didn’t help. Best 7-6 team ever lol
@southern-psu-fan DA was an even bigger bust than Hack IMO and that’s saying a lot although think Allar may have been overrated coming out of HS. He still had potential but his lack of development falls squarely on JF’s shoulders as does Hack’s regression.

@southern-psu-fan haven’t heard or read anything about what those 2 are doing but if they and King Mack come back it will be a huge win. To me it seems like a lot more guys are going to stay than expected and it’s going to be fun watching OSU overpay for Chaz Coleman.

Rojas stays after coming off shoulder and knee surgery, and gotta be projected as the team leader of the D. Could end up being one of the great ones his last season and or potential for two seasons due to medical redshirt.
If he goes, look at VTech, Duke, or Miami as landing spots.
hate losing this dude but I’m wondering if any players are coming over from USC? Hopefully we can nab a few recruits and a few good players and heck we might be better next year. From what I see today and looking at the schedule I’m seeing 9 or more wins depends on how the QB position plays out. Things are looking good at Penn St I’m loving it. What we have and stealing a few good players from USC and Iowa St and maybe picking up a couple of studs in the portal heck we can be in the playoffs next year 😁

Grunk is going to get somewhere between 1.7 mil and 2.2 mil if he enters the portal...He is a must keep player...Rojas is a must keep player...I can see Penn State poaching some of the younger defensive players from USC because of the great hire they just made by bringing in Lynn...These guys are going to bring in top tier talent...Penn State is going to become a hot destination for these portal guys...They need to pass on Pribula and the QB from Iowa State...They don't need them...Grunk is the guy and they have a couple of highly touted guys behind them that need to stick around...They need to spend on lineman on both sides of the ball and the secondary...From there you need WR's and Backers...I have total faith in these guys to bring in top shelf players...We have adults in charge now fella's...This is exciting...
