@roaminglion if the QB is as good as I’m hearing we’ll be undefeated when USC comes to the whiteout and imo USC will be coming into a hornets nest and catching us at a bad time because the team should be jelling. USC would’ve rather got us early in the year. I don’t know if we can win the big 10 but I can see us running the table during the regular season. MC is combining 2 good football teams together Roam and I’m licking my chops 😂
Keep in mind the current Heisman Trophy winner was a 2* out of high school...Just sayin

DA was gettin 3 million and this dude is better than DA so 2.5 million might be a great deal if that’s what he’s gettin.
It's too bad our new HC had to bring his security blanket and backup with him. As often as he says the HC & QB need to be joined together at the hip, Grunk would have been a fool to stick around.
@rip Grunk may have had the James Franklinitis mentality where he believes he should be the starter regardless because he could’ve stayed and fought it out on the field. We really got 2 QB’s for 1 and I believe it was the right choice. I’m feeling very good about the team RIP
It is not about cost, it is about return for the investment. And just because DA was getting 3 and somebody else is better doesn't make them worth 2.5 🙁
I hope the QB decisions have a good short and long term ROI. We will never know how Grunk might have done because now he is with the QB Destroyer.
@underlion I don’t know about that underlion because O’Brian is back with James Franklin and he was Grunks QB coach and James Franklin recruited him. McSorely and Clifford spent time in the NFL and you don’t even sniff the NFL unless you got something to offer. IMO DA was the problem and JF didn’t have the balls to pull him as Roam put it and he’s right. It’s not a coincidence that the WR’s and QB play got better when Grunk became the starter…same QB coach and WR’s coach. It’s definitely James Franklin’s fault though. I’m on record today saying we’re going to have some good QB and WR play this year baby 😁 I’m just feeling it broth. As I’ve said before, DA tried his best he just wasn’t as good as we thought, it happens.
McSorley succeeded purely on talent, not coaching. I will say I was right about Franklin not having the balls to pull DA, but wrong on saying the WRs were the problem. They weren't and I was completely wrong about that. We had some really good receivers that, due to coaching and DA, were completely underdeveloped and/or underutilized. All of that became very apparent this year.
Video on Rocco and I noticed a lot of the plays and throws this dude did they were losing or the game was close. I’ve never watched the dude do I was curious to see what kind of game the dude has.
