10 years from now why would you count the first two? You don't count the first two because it was not a level playing field. That man had 20-25 less scholarship players than other teams. It is nonsensical to use the teams record in those years as a barometer for his coaching ability. It is just plain stupid, he had his hands tied behind his back.

10 years from now, 50 years from now, it won't change the fact that those two years were outliers in respect to sanctions, schollie players, etc. Murray has always maintained 2019 was the "no excuses" year, he hasn't backed off that sentiment for the past 3 seasons.

Apples and Oranges but Saban got Bama turned around pretty damn quick and has been consistent. I think the loss to LA-Monroe lit the fire. Thing with Saban's Bama teams is that his players just look like they are ready to roll physically and mentally much more so than PSU teams. I also realize Bama is an anomaly right now but they are elite.

As far as JF goes I'd just like to see consistency in the progression of all phases of the game and player development. After 2020, I think we'll know exactly what it is; either Zook, Ferentz, or Saban/Myers caliber. If Zook, he should be gone; if Ferentz, he will be given a 5 year extension; if Saban/Myers, everyone can say "I told you so" or   " I really just knew it was a matter of time".
