I’m assuming since the SEC and Big 10 are pushing back the bill is a good thing? I admit I don’t understand anything with laws 😂

@southern-psu-fan Kinda like waiting to see who actually shows up on the field, I'll wait to see what the final bill looks like...if passed.

Yesiree, BT.  The problem I have is they always seem to create more problems than they solve.

Did this article explain what effect this bill would have? If it did I missed it and the only thing I got out of it was that the B1G and SEC are against it.

From another article: "Among other things, the Protect College Sports Act would allow the NCAA to limit transfers and eligibility, enforce a spending cap, give conferences the option to pool their television rights and prevent coaches from leaving their teams before the end of the season. It also forces schools to commit to preserve their women’s and Olympic sports programs."

The reason the Big Ten and SEC are against it isn't hard to understand when you follow the money. They want to be able to do whatever they want without limits... and this limits them

If the D-bag on the left in the picture has anything to do with the bill it can't be good.

I like everything about this bill with one exception...No salary cap...We all know what is going to happen to that...There is no way to enforce that...If you got the cash let it flow...The SEC was paying players for years and now all of sudden everybody can pay players and look what happened the last 3 years...I agree with everything but the salary cap because that would be a farce...
