Get a load of this:
Salsei Moa, the #1 ranked recruit in Utah in 2026 committed to University of Utah in early December, signed his LOI a few days later, enrolled early in January and has already entered the portal. Been enrolled and on campus for less than a week and was allowed to enter the freaking portal.
Sorry if this was already posted here, i didnt have time to read through all the posts.
Limiting the amount of times they can transfer might put an end to this ridiculousness?
No one says a coach has to pick up a player from the portal; maybe if coaches took the stance that job hopping isn't a good sign and simply stopped signing players, the process would work itself out, yeah, I know, dreaming.
I look at resumes all the time, big red flag is hopping jobs for one reason or the other; I've never missed out on a steller employee, as far as a I know, by not onboarding a frequent flyer or someone looking for more money at each lay over.
No way to legally prevent them from transferring without antitrust exemptionsLimiting the amount of times they can transfer might put an end to this ridiculousness?
Still talking about this? Absolutely nothing can be done about how many times someone can transfer. That would be like telling someone you can't sell your house and move for better paying job or opportunities. We have enough Authoritarianism the way it is.
Man this dude put Duke in a bad position. Whatever the antitrust thing roam is talking about needs to get done and folk wonder why the government has to get involved in stuff.
Not only have the wheels fallen off, the air bags have deployed, the EMT's have gone home and the coroner is on his way!
