#1 Georgia

#2 Oklahoma

#3 Ohio State

#4 Alabama

#5 Michigan

I have Cincinnati on the outside looking in this week. I only rank the top 5 teams because this is where the big dawgs play. Michigan and Ohio St are the most 2 improved teams I’ve seen this year.  I’m starting to feel Michigan a little they are gettin better every game.

I believe this with my heart!!!!  Penn State would be 7-0 and sitting at #2 WITH VOTES if we had somebody like Saban coaching the exact same kids! JF is not the answer to the future of this program!! I wanted to believe he was, but yesterday just proved that he is a good recruiter and nothing more!!

Partially true, if we had Saban we would be 2 to 3 deep with real 4 and 5 star talent.

@mtnittanylion   I agree with navylion, he just might be leaving because something just doesn’t feel right. Did y’all get that vibe yesterday or was it just me? Something just ain’t right. I don’t know man. There was a distraction yesterday I just don’t know what it was.

I agree with that assumption, you could see it in JF's demeanor.

Personally I think he's gone and I don't think his results will be any different than at PSU. Not a knock on the man but like any other organizational leader, they have a time and place for what they do really well, and when that calling is over they either move on and excel doing the same somewhere else, or they stay and the erosion starts. Some leaders are wired for startups, some for post startup/crisis stabilization and some for tearing it down.

If you could pick a coach based on where this program is now and what it needs, seriously what and who are you looking for?

Just spitballing, what would anyone think of Yurcich as head coach after Franklin? He didn't show well yesterday but one can't argue the improvement in our offense and Clifford this year.

They need to bring in somebody that played under JVP.  They need to put the band back together!! They need to hire somebody that knows the OLD RECIPE's like your GRANDMOTHER had!!

I love the goat as much as anybody else does but winning solves all your problems regardless who the coach is. I believe Yurcich would be better and he would keep the stud recruiting class together we got coming in. Just my opinion though buddy

I'd be fine with Yurcich as head man.  Pry gotta go - bring back Scrap as DC.  Also bring back Limegrover as OL coach.

2018 and 2019 are the 2 highest rated classes JF has pulled in and were even better than the alleged great class of 2022. This was suppose to be the year.

@southern-psu-fan For 2nd straight week, southern, not that it makes your day, I agree totally with your top 5,,Cincy out, ive always been a skeptic, and they struggled with Navy....and like you, Im warming up to UM; Much better team now, than when they started the season..

I will say this, if Cincy runs the table, they will get in the playoff....Congressional oversight of a system, particularly  non-power 5 teams getting slighted while unbeaten, scares the committee..It already scared them into granting a NY6 Bowl to best of non power5s; now the next step in the evolution..

If Cinn goes undefeated they belong in the Championship series. If they didn't they shoudn't be ranked in the 10 now.

Just noticed the Tide moved to #3. The committee will take some heat this year if Oklahoma and Cincinnati end up undefeated I just don’t see the committee dropping Georgia out of the top 4 if they lose a close game to Alabama. If Alabama beats Georgia they’ll move to #2 and Georgia will be #4. Oklahoma could end up #1 if they finish undefeated that imo leaves Cincinnati and Ohio St for the other spot. Still a lot of football to play this is the way I see things today. I don’t believe they’ll leave Ohio St out. This is going to be interesting to see.

Yeah, this is suppose to be the year since the Penn live days. I've heard that more times than a top ten radio song.
