So much for Brewer and the kid from Texas being QB transfer options for PSU. Both are going to Utah.
! saw the Texas kid was going but didn't know Brewer was too. I guess now I'm hoping for Hooker.
@been-there-ii. This dude is a good get the only thing is Lee was becoming a workhorse and this kid Lee is going to be a beast. Holmes and this kid should get some good playing time. If Noah Cain can stay healthy he might be better than all of ‘em we are stacked at RB.
@cavensprawl This is a great get!!! People were clamoring for it on 247 but I didn't think it was possible. The guy is probably better than anything we had on the roster!!
Cave did you change my nic? I miss Joe Masten
Prog
His stats don't exactly pop out as all that good, anything special about him that makes him better than what we have already?
Good pickup regardless, but just asking
@roaminglion OK I shouldn't have said "great" get but it is a good get and definitely fills a need if Cain isn't ready to go next year.
Penn State has supposedly making DB Johnny Dixon a portal priority and has also been frequently in touch with MJ Devonshire .I wonder why Franklin is so focused on DB in the portal, that's a position I thought was pretty well set for the next year or two.
Prognosticator
Gotta change with the times baby but the thought of driving electric battery cars is killing me lol. I hate the electric forklifts!
We have a Tesla Model 3. It will beat most cars off the line at 0-60 in 3.7 seconds. It’s a blast to drive
They are sweet rides, but remember, the Toyota Prius goes 0-60 in 2.3 (minutes that is) lol

LMAO!

Yeah it's my removal vehicle...Hope all of you are well and for the love of all things holy wear a mask and protect yourselves...I can't believe 9 months later I am still hearing people think this is a hoax and not a serious matter...I wish I could give all of these doubters a ride in the passengers seat with me on my daily trips to pick up these covid 19 casualties...Sadly a day doesn't go by where I am not picking up some poor soul who met their fate due to covid 19...Please take it seriously, wear a mask, social distance and limit you exposure...
Out of curiosity - from someone who passed from Covid-19, how long does it take for a corpse to no longer be infectious?
@roaminglion. That’s a great 0-60 time. I got something close to that. I seen you guys were talking about cars. I like so many different kinds. My dream car would be a1973 Ford Falcon XB GT. Very rare in the states. Production was for Australia and England. It’s kinda like our Ford Torino. I heard some of the Tesla’s are fast.

That's awesome! Yeah, the Tesla's are quick off the line. Ours is the Model 3, so not really the fancy one. That would be the Model S, 0-60 in 2.3 seconds. Been in one once and it absolutely flies off the line, just ridiculous. That said, they can't compete if you want top end speed, as most Tesla's plateau at 160 mph. Not that you'd ever need that anywhere but a race track, LMAO. Just a note, the Tesla X (SUV) is 0-60 in 3.4 seconds... AN SUV!
My dream car has always been a 1972 Stingray convertible, absolutely love that car. I was so jealous of Chris Tucker when I saw it in Rush Hour, told my friend they even got the black paint right! Damn I wanted that Corvette.
SPF: Throw my name in the ring too. Here's a hint, none of my vehicles were made in this century. I think BT may remember one of them. I have 3 but none are from the same decade.
‘65 Ford Bronco? An icon in the off road 4x4 world.
When I had my nova I used a ford 9inch rear. Went to the junkyard looking for a part and found a bronco with 9 inch.
@roaminglion. I like them old Vetes too. The early 70s are nice because the still have the skinny Crome bumper on the front and back of the car. And the back end of the car has the fin still that is not the separate fiberglass cap. The later ones came with. Them stingrays have nice lines too them. I have one now a 2014. It’s a nice car fun to drive. Good car for a cruise to beach. For sports car it’s pretty roomy too. I’m 6’3’’ and fit fine once I’m in it. Getting in it is the tough part. But now I have a year and a half old boy. So having a two seater car does not work anymore. Plus I only drive it about 3 thousand miles a year if that. If I got another one it will be an old early 70s. Corvette.
@rockatansky76 I'm not a Chevy fan but love old Vettes! Developed an affection for 50's-60's Vettes years ago at the fall car show in Hershey.
@psujoe I like them all. Fords Chevy Cadillacs too. You go to them car shows. You see a lot of cars you could see yourself in. Especially the old pick up trucks. The ones in the 70s were cool. Ford Chevy and Dodges were all pretty neat. But yes. Them real old vettes are really nice. You don’t see many on the road unless you are at a show. At least up where I’m at I don’t see them driven much.
In my 20s I had a nova. 396 roller cam, roller rockers, 4 speed, Ford 9 inch. It was a money pit. Took it for a ride one night and got home realizing it was time to sell it. I remember going to the only gas station around for cam 2 . Maybe in the future I would like a 70 Camaro.
@rockatansky76 Yea old pickups are cool too and you can still buy one of them for a lot less $$ than the cars of same age.

I've made my visits to Carlisle and Hershey for parts at one time. My buddy bought his quarter panels there. NOS.
I’m a Ford man myself but I do love corvettes. Man did GM and corvette do their homework on the new ones or what, that is an awesome car. I love the new body style and no matter what color they all look nasty lol man I love them cars.
@southern-psu-fan Yeah them new Vettes are nice. A lot more money too. The previous style really dropped in value when the mid engine Corvette came out. I like Fords a lot too myself. I posted earlier my top car would be the Australian Ford Falcon. Early 70s. Heck I would even take the Ford Landau early 70s. Look that car up Southern. 1973 Ford Landau. Australian model. Not the big 4 door American version. Pretty close comparison to the Falcon. Still a low production model car. Very expensive too.
Actually, the new base model C8 Corvette is cheaper than it’s competitors and not much different from the previous model (C7) pricing. That was Chevrolet’s goal, to keep the cars at a competitive price despite the new model platform. It starts at $60,000. Obviously, the more bells and whistles you want or if you jump up to more high performance models, the price goes up, but it is a lot of bang for your buck compared to the Porche’s etc. they are competing with.
