James has done many good things but he does not have the ability to take the program any further. It is past time for him to do the honorable thing and leave along with Pry and Sandy —— with no money going out the door.

I don't want to do revolving coaches and we seemed so close until Cliff got hurt. And honestly a healthy Clifford is serviceable but not a top 10 QB. Yurcich is new and I hate to expect miracles but... At the end of the day average RB's and QB's look good with a great O-Line. We have to have serviceable RB's and QB's. Maybe not Barkley Studs but... we have recruited well.
Paterno would reinvent himself, challenge himself, the staff, the team. The staff is not developing an offensive line and for that matter they are not really developing 3 and 4* players. How many 100 yard games have RB's had this year? Your QB is going to get hurt when you can't run...you better have a backup that can perform. We will play 1 team this year that has out recruited us in the last 5 years.
Yea the defense got pushed around but they got 3-4 turnovers which could have been 4-6. They gave up 10 darn points when the offense wasn't helping with field position or TOP. I don't mind our defense getting pushed around so much when I realize they are a speed defense, they are thin, and IL is playing power (2 big TES on the line, not our receiving TE's split out). Luckily the kicker helps.
OSU is improving, we are not, luckily it looks like UM and MSU are not improving much.

Well realistically I probably expected 3 losses +/- 2 so we are where I expected pre season. They just got my hopes up too much. Today I have little confidence at OSU so that will be another 3 game losing streak. The Michigan's are still both 50/50. But with no QB we could be in trouble.... And the coaches told us very clearly today that we have no QB.
